I blame you for this thread.
The wonderful thing about that story was that Saurfang was totally aware of this process.
But he aceded anyway.
This thread was made before this character was even born
We still had nothing to do with the burning of the tree.
This thread is ten months old why would you necro it.
And didn’t even give a decent response.
Why not necro it?
Because this is a terrible topic that never should have been dug up, that’s why. You also added nothing of substance to the conversation. Hopefully this thread can go back to its grave without another argument about Teldrassil and the Horde.
Because necro’ing threads is considered poor forum etiquette, not to mention is actually frowned upon by the forum moderators themselves.
It might be different if you had anything to contribute to the conversation prior, but all you did was repeat your same brick wall rebuttal in response to someone actually providing evidence to your prior statement.
So it’s double bad.
Saw new reply in my window, answered new reply, didn’t see it was an old post. C’est la vie.
It’s not hard to look at the date on a comment. It’s even less hard to give a better reply. It’s not hard at all to completely ignore whatever the reply was when you see the quality of this thread.
Assuming that Sylvannas’ intentions were to end the Alliance/Horde wars for once and for all, it wasn’t going to be done by playing pattycake.
Yet the hate is renewed as it becomes more clear day by day that Sylvanas will get away with genocide.
Only in the increasingly paranoid eyes of this subboard.
I’m actually glad you necro’d the thread simply for this post. I’ve always wondered how people even find these ancient threads without scrolling for eternity, and now I know it’s because of forum notifications.
You could have taken your own advice.
I didn’t necro the thread, did I?
Necro’d the thread to say something false, in fact.
Poised isn’t wrong. The Horde went along with Sylvanas’s scheme right up through the burning of Teldrassil. We carved our way up through Darkshore and then we followed her command to burn the tree. All of this helped Sylvanas get her new powers which enabled her to defeat Bolvar and tear open the veil.
The first step in fixing a problem is recognizing it exists. Horde has a problem of getting strung along by bad leaders and doing bad things. Abolishing the position of Warchief is a good first step but there are lots more to go.
And we still have a duty in stopping Sylvanas.
These past few necros have been very good indeed.
If only we could have known, even a year ago, that people would still complain, cry, whinge and be personally offended by this event on the cusp of the upcoming expansion.
Very epic, indeed.
