When are we getting normal flying?

is this fixed yet? checking in

PVPers don’t like regular flying, because they can’t gank people who hover.

I say remove regular flying from warmode, and keep it in PVE mode with the exception that you can’t mount if you flag.

Yes. A lot of people who are going to turn blue holding their breath waiting for air swimming to come to the Dragon Isles. Cope.

Dragonriding is the newest episode of “NEW THING IS THE WORST THING EVER MADE!!!” on the forums.

I think they should do away with normal flying going forward just because it help make things difficult for bots from just flying around on script pathing gathering and etc.

What is so bad about having both systems available to players, though?

For normal people nothing is wrong because we know more options are better and will only help the game on the other hand these dragon riding cultists who hate normal flying everything is wrong because it invalidates that dragon riding is the god send they all want it to be.

They are just scared once normal flying is released they can’t force us anymore to use it and a lot have to be pvp babies who are scared they can’t gank anymore.

This point totally baffles me, personally. I don’t even use WM so it never even occurred to me before people started mentioning it. Even still, isn’t there a net item from BFA that dismounts people anyway? Like, I thought this issue was already solved for PvPers.

Still finding it so hilarious that pro-Dragonriding players are hell-bent on having legacy flying removed, yet I almost never, if ever see people who want legacy flying asking for Dragonriding to be removed. They also want Dragonriding in older content as well, ok, you can have it, on the condition that both systems coexist at the same time going forward, meaning both Dragonriding and legacy flying are released at the same time in an expansion.

If Blizz delays legacy flying, then delay Dragonriding as well, only fair.

this is the way it should be. I have already decided if both are not released at the same time moving forward I just bought my last wow expansion.

While i get people want normal flying, this is an xpac where dragonriding is a main feature. I honestly doubt it will be added soon.

That said if they did add it id be happy for you, I however would love for dragon riding to be added to ALL content as imo its vastly superior to normal flying in every single way.

Nothing. I have no problem with you using regular flying. But Blizzard wants you using Better Flying, so you have to make a compelling reason to convince them. “I LIKE TUH FLOAT IN DUH AIR BLIZZ DRAGONRIDING IS SOOOOO BAD!!~!!1” is not a compelling reason.

It’s fine. Learn to play.

Who are these players? Show yourselves so I can laugh at you.

Unless you want to have regular mounts with dragonriding mechanics, then yeah - that’s fine.

You have absolutely no idea how much you’d hate 310% flying in the Dragon Isles. But I’d love to see you take 30 minutes to get from one end of the map to the other.

Cope and seethe.

Nobody is scared of anything. I personally do not pvp ever and I don’t care. If they add regular flying to the Dragon Isles I’d be fine with it.

This doesn’t have to be yet another internet-polarized “Pro/Anti” issue like you Redditors like to make everything out to be.

It’s just hilarious seeing people rag on Dragonriding so much (especially in this thread; I especially like the guy saying they should’ve delayed Dragonriding since it’s only fair) and I love poking fun at it.

Dragonriding is fine. I hated it the first day I used it and got over that real quick. You don’t need to convince the “Anti-normal flying” crowd of your argument, you need to convince Blizzard.

And YOU have absolutely no idea how much or how many folks might like it back.

If i’m going one end of the zone to the other I will use the dragon. If I’m gathering or doing short hops or just exploring, I would like the utility of legacy flight much better.

We
Can
Have
Both.

See, now that’s a good argument, and one Blizzard should hear. Sometimes we want to go short distances faster and Dragonriding is kind of hectic in that capacity.

Now go tell Blizzard.

Agreed! It’s perfectly possible to have a sensible discussion about it and try to understand one another instead of being polarized.

My impression was that the forums were, at least partially, a way to give Blizzard feedback. What other ways are there to get the message out?

you can give Blizzard feedback on the support website. Anyway, I’m not saying DON’T post on the forums about this at all. I’m saying it makes more sense to make a post directed at Blizzard with feedback, rather than arguing with people who disagree with you and complaining that other players don’t want you to want regular flying.

I hope never cuz dragon flying is just fine
