For you as well just use your flying mounts as ground vehicles for the time being
No thanks Iâll take BOTH dragon riding and regular flying. Itâs amazing itâs almost like different people like different things.

Good to know. Iâve actually never given feedback before and I only recently started coming to the forums lol
Maybe Iâll try to get a thread started thatâs more clearly labeled, then and give the support feedback a try. I guess my main concern was that Blizz might only see the âremove regular flyingâ posts and decide to actually go through with it, so I want to provide at least some evidence that there are people who donât agree with that statement. Plus, some people genuinely ask for reasons as to why people want old flying and I think itâs perfectly fine to engage in those conversations. I also want to know why people want it removed, so I can get a better understanding of where people are coming from.

Iâm not sure if this is your stance or if youâre attempting to provide an answer on behalf of those who feel that way. Regardless, I have the impression you donât want to speak further about the merits of dragon riding vs legacy flying so Iâll move on.
Itâs certainly possible it wonât be removed, but Iâm trying to think of it from the perspective of a company. There has only been a statement or two indicating regular flying might come back in a later patch. I can easily see them backtracking on a statement like that, and their decision being at least partially influenced by the community feedback.

Hopefully that will change in 10.1 or at the latest 10.2.
I imagine if Blizzard wanted legacy flying on the Dragon Isles, they would have added it or a pathfinder achievement. Who knows, maybe they will in the future, when the Isles are more trivialized. And no, I donât want to speak on the merits of legacy flying vs dragonriding. I would rather set myself on fire than have that lame conversation any further.

Even Blizzard as stupid as they have been and can be got to know removing normal flight after what they pulled in the WOD flight debacle would be the dumbest thing ever we are talking about an exodus WOW has never seen an exodus far worse than WOD.
Blizzard doesnât want to see another sub drop like we had in WOD which is why even though the cult of remove normal flying cries like the children they are Blizzard knows just that they are throwing a tantrum and should be ignored.
âCultâ is some really strong language weâre using for people who prefer the newest form of transportation in an online RPG. Youâre one of those people who loves to hate other people who have opinions you donât agree with, arenât you?
