I do not care about any of your excuses. Every expansion you lot come up with ever more elaborate reasons why Blizzard should steal our flight abilities and mounts. I earned them, many times over, and I and woefully tired of this nonsense.
If I do not get my flying mounts back they will never get another dime from me or my family.
Pray Blizzard never takes your advice as Microsoft terminates software that isnât profitable.

Games that have elements of âpunishing designâ are typically hated, and whilst this suggestion of yours isnât on par with many of these games that are cult (partially because youâd have to join said cult to enjoy them if we think about it logically speaking) classics
In fact thereâs been several experiments made that âunfairly lenient designâ makes games feel more fair; thereâs been an example where folks design different types of jumping puzzle games and experimented with the size of the platforms; if a platform was visually correct, like 60-70% people would regularly just jump to their death and close to everyone felt that the platforming was simply not precise
Its a really weird thing but you canât really add punishing design elements if you want something to feel fair, and I suspect adding things like what you are suggesting would feel like it; no way to know for certain but thatâs just my suspicion
My money is on November. It will be a year into the expansion and the first of the year-subbers will be up for renewal and Blizzard will have to throw more non-dragonriding mounts at them to entice them to stay.

Blizz should have just had ground mounts in game from the start then we wouldnt be having this issue. cant miss what we never had.
BUT, we have had flying since TBC. we want to keep it now.

You can like it or not, but its not an excuse - you can simply say âI disagree with this assessmentâ and then make your arguments both in terms of flying overall or to any of the points I raised, but calling it an excuse lends little credence towards you having even thought about it from a design perspective
I mentioned that dragonriding avoids most negatives ⌠this is one it doesnât avoid
Just to clarify that
I absolutely love dragonriding, but it has things to solve and not reducing peopleâs mount collections to this degree is one of 'em

Odd because 90% of the people Iâve talked to want normal flying back in game along with dragon flying.
I do find your idea of a survey interesting but I donât trust Blizzard to be honest about the results. They have a history of dishonesty when dealing with the players.

Yeah, thatâs why I would LOVE to see actual data from feedback from all players through a survey so we donât go off of hearsay or seesay. Iâll see a highly upvoted post about how âmost players hate dragon riding, give me old flyingâ Then Iâll see an equal or even higher upvoted post saying how awesome dragon riding is and they want it applied everywhere. We can just skip all the guessing games and get actual statistics instead of a Blizzard participation data metric system that theyâd normally do.

My question is why canât we macro the Select Random Favorite Mount button? I want to macro it with the dragonriding mount so that I can summon either the dragon or one my my regular mounts.
They will never give us that data lol. I would so love to see some of the data the suck out of the game - how many people playing in which zones for how long, who raids, runs mythic dungeons, etc.
But letting us see it might show their esports push is not as popular as they would like us to believe.

Perhaps you will eventually be able to use the old mounts as if they were dragons or just choose. I doubt they will just do away with the normal mounts. Some people have put in a ton of time collecting those mounts.
I like dragon riding except the constant roaring going on. Kind of cool at first but now I am quick to turn the sound off.
Does anyone know how to turn the roaring off?
