My memory is alittle blurry though I think I grew up with Transformers Armada (which was apparently regarded as the worst of the Transformers series for some reason).
Though I think if I had to pick my favorite childhood TV series it’d be Swat Kats merely for the fact of how often something gets blown up by rockets every episode.

To this day the scenes when the Eva 01 goes berserk, specially the one when it hits 400% synchro sends chills down my spine…EoE is a whole different experience, though.
Nothing will ever reach that level. Well, maybe if you don’t take Berserk 2017 into account.

The family and publisher had a “ghost author” finish the novels using the notes, outlines, and other documentation the author left, in case you didn’t know.

yu yu hakusho was my first but One Piece has been my favorite long series as for a short series I really enjoyed “No Game No Life”

Yeah my most recent watch of evangelion was in VR and that scene is perfection. For sure my favorite anime forever. I can’t wait for 3.0 + 1.0.

This was played in theaters in 1980. I saw it before seeing the Robin Williams Popeye movie. Can’t tell you a damn thing about the Popeye movie but GX999 blew my mind.

Berserk just makes me feel like a hipster because I’m a big Devilman fan. And Berserk was inspired by that. I haven’t watched Berserk fully but I respect it still.
It’s like how you can love a band without listening to their entire collection if that makes sense.

That redo of healer anime further assures that my opinion that anime is horrible and needs to be banned is correct. The senators in countries trying to get it banned are saints that should be praised.
It was either Fooly Cooly [FLCL] or Inuyasha [I remember watching it a lot] one of my older siblings had introduced me to them.
