I was just kicked mid-AV and banned for 2 weeks for “non participation or exploitation”. Obviously I was reported for being in a gank squad or something but now I cant even submit a ticket because the ticket system is literally broken and says try again later.
Blizzard, what are you doing? This is what makes people quit your game.
You wouldn’t know that. Only Blizzard knows, and even being in a rando gank squad doesn’t make it against the rules anyway.

Seems like a lot of the self-services and ticketing stuff are bonk’d right now. I’m curious if its related to the recent patch somehow.
Same here. Hopefully we get grace from blizzard. The toxicity is at 1000% right now from meta chasers.
I have seen posts of guilds bragging about spam reporting player that do not rush LTs.

You mentioned having an emergency in your appeal, but these aren’t based off one match, or even a small handful. The percentage noted where no damage or healing was done is well over the majority threshold I’m afraid.

I was just curious how the dmg/healing threshold works for alliance side due to the AV games only taking 6 minutes on average. I have definitely played many games where we rush to the horde base and wait for the aid station to cap. Horde will kite at alliance base and usually kill Van in less than 6 minutes. I’m actively playing and cooperating with my team in those scenario. On the other hand if I try to just play for fun and defend or look for 1v1 PvP I get yelled at and gaslit by the whole raid.
This is an issue with toxic metas. And I believe innocent players are getting banned over it
What she’s getting at is the fact the battleground reports, the ones from the team who apply the action, shows the overall amount of damage/healing done. Namely, out of, say, 200 games played, around 175 of said games was the player was doing nothing in terms of helping the team with their goal.
Defender towers/mines and the like isn’t going to help the matter as it will come off as afk/non-playing the game.
But I what I’m trying to tell you is the whole meta frowns on you doin anything but get out of the way. So that the game ends. Alliance doesn’t pull the horde boss unless the horde wipes on van. Meaning tons of games with no damage done.
Hey thanks for at least responding as my ticket last night was just straight up deleted without a response. Yeah trying to play AV with 2 small kids running around is quite hard. I definitely got the deserter buff a few times but I didn’t think that warranted a 2 week ban. That seems absolutely insane to me. Guess I won’t be ranking to 14. Sigh.
But it wasn’t deleted, it’s there - in queue.
While many can’t put in tickets at the moment, every one of these ‘missing’ tickets I’ve looked up are still in queue.
Is it always a 2 week ban? This would be my first offence like this on a 2005 account… Seems incredibly harsh.
Current first penalty for non-participation is indeed 14 days.
Intended to stop the behavior from happening. If it wasn’t “harsh”, then it’s not really an incentive to change.
What’s the suspension for RMT? Because this definitely seems as if the punishment doesn’t fit the crime.
No, afking in AV. I guess they apply an algorithm to see how much damage you do per match. Looks like tons of players are getting banned for all sorts of stuff in AV. Lesson learned I guess.

No I know what the suspension is for Jada. I was making an equivalence point. AFK in AV = 2 week ban. While RMT seems to either be the same punishment or less. Doesn’t make sense.

I can certainly see things, and I’ve been here a very long time so I can sometimes set expectations - but we don’t handle appeals, so the final say is up to the hacks team and the GMs
