Purrrrrfect!!! I would definitely make one.
I think we have enough elves already.
I would like dryad/ forest nymph for alliance and ogre for horde.
I just wanna play with Vrykuls. The Valajar ones have plenty of reasons do join Alliance, thanks to Sylvannas and Helya.
Classes: Warrior, Hunter, Shaman, DK, Warlock, Priest and Paladin (yes, they have strong conection with the light, thanks to Eyir, the valkir queen).
Maybe some kind of Undead? Blue team needs more zombies.
Sethrak or Furbolg would make my day for the Alliance.
Ethereals are pretty neat tooâŚ
Or JinyuâŚ
I want a lot of racesâŚ
Itâs only the Kul Tirans, theyâre the only allied race that was fully built from scratch. Even if the zandalari pretty much uses new animations itâs an altered troll rig according to the devs, which we can also see since porting skin textures between the zandalari and regular trolls works very well.
I want to see Cat People on the Alliance too.
Agreed. The last thing I want is another âhumanâ race while Horde gets stuff like Vulpera.
Play an elf.
High elvesâŚbut instead we got Void elves with a high elf skin
Thatâs the price you pay for being Alliance. Sad but true.
Is this another dumb thread where âno one plays on my trash server so obviously no one plays anywhereâ ?
Iâm not even going to read this garbage but you do realize 3 of the Hordes ARâs are reskins, right?
Nightborne, Highmountain and Magâhar orcs are reskins if youâre calling Mechagnomes, Void Elves, Lightforged Dranei and Dark Iron reskins.
Also, what an absolutely stupid thing to complain about. These are people who have been in the storyline for longer than youâve likely been alive, some of them like the High Elves, Kul Tirans, Dark Iron dwarves, Magâhar orcs.
I say there arenât enough copypastas. Though realistically, Wildhammer dwarves should have been an option and not Dark Iron, which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever given the years alliance players spent absolutely cleansing them.
The problem with Kul Tirans isnât that theyâre âunattractive.â The problem is that they literally copy-pasted the Tauren animations and slapped them on âfat humansâ that not only donât look anything like any Kul Tiran in the game has ever looked, but also donât look anything like a single NPC in Kul Tiras - their own homeland - except for Lady Ashvane.
That whole âAlliance racials is badâ argument is hilariously ignorant too. Brush it off is excellent as is haymaker, and brush it off procs literally nonstop. Lightâs Judgement is a killer move for Lightforged, regardless of class. Gift of the Naaru? Stoneborn? Forge of Light? Dungeon Delver?
Yea, itâd be cool for Alliance to get a berserk racial which only Horde has, but letâs maybe not pretend alliance racials arenât great.
High Elves became a thing in Warcraft 2, actually.
Magâhar Orcs were highly requested and came also with the straight-back option which is very popular with the Orc-players. Nightborne and HMT enjoy being a well remembered race because we all leveled with them. Legion is, in general, remembered as one of the better expansions which factors into the sentiment people have for them.
Void Elves were a great concept but given that they have absolute no storyline and come out of nowhere, they are simply a replacement race for the Alliance High Elves/Silver Covenant. The Lightforged Draenei are boring clones with just one storyline during Argus and Dark Iron Dwarves fall under the prestige races which the Alliance has rallied in the past.
You need to read the books to get the current situation: All of the three dwarf races have a reason why they should occupy a race slot.
Most of the talents are for defense which cannot compete with the Orc and Troll ones which still do more damage than anything else according to some sims people have posted. The best solution would be to reduce their damage numbers.
A dragon race if they had pretty features/options.
I think Drakonid would be a good option for the next Alliance race.
Arakkoa - standard type - should be a glyph for moonkin form. Adherent type should be a druid flight form glyph. Saberons were previously a feral talent and should be a feral glyph.
I just donât want another âsub-speciesâ of already existing races. Allied races are a chance for the developers to branch out from the traditional norms for a faction and give them something unique.
- That make sense?
QuelâDorei, Wildhammer clan
- That can make sense?
Jinyu, ankoan, furbolgs (Stillpine most likely), dryad/keeper of the grove.
- That couuuuuuuuuuld make sense?
Any goblin cartel other than Bilgewater, Sethrak.
- That donât make sense?
Iâd love to play EtherealâŚI mean itâd be way too fartetched to have void elves contacts call upon them, as ethereals still wouldnt have any business with us other thanâŚwell, business. But Iâd just love to play them xD.
- That make below absolute zero sense?
Murlocs, Gnolls.
EDIT:
- That make sense but likely wouldnt be popular:
Stromgarde humans
- That donât make sense and likely wouldnât be popular:
Alteraci humansâŚthough those could be Horde too , who knows.
High elves, with high elve passives, not just visuals.
