What new Alliance races would people ACTUALLY play?

Dryads. even as a casual (to one of 500 definitions) who only does pvp and mog collection mainly…I could forego them.

Dryads would need no armour appearance what so ever…

Night Elf Worgen, they’re like regular Worgen but taller and better smelling.

Arakkoa.

There are two flavors of Arakkoa – thematically, High Arakkoa would fit in with the Alliance, while the Arakkoa Outcasts, the ones cursed by the blood of Sethe and stripped of the ability to fly, would fit in thematically with the Horde.

I still think the Tortollan have immense potential for a playable race.

I’m sure plenty would play Dragonkin.

I love how people still think the Alliance Allied races don’t have good racials when they have the most busted racials ever.

I have not read the intervening posts … but to the OP…
Fuzzy well done cute rat people and lovely winged fairies , the fairies should get flying without a mount as their racial.

Fully agree with this, really would like Saberon on Alliance, they already use the Worgen skeleton as far as I know.

Horde side, well, since all the work went into the Kul’tiran rig and it’s not played much, give Horde Mok’nathal, since I believe Rexxar is using a variation of the male Kul’tiran rig and give that rig a second life.

Horde allied races are reskin as well, including vulperas, they are goblin reskin.
There are only 2 allied races that have complete new model and animations: Kultirians and Zandalaris.

I hate see people from alliance complaining about Kultirians, cause makes no sense. Yes they are humans, but is a complete new one, not a reskin, and they have a badass strongman looking in my opinion.
If blizzard added the thin kultirians, maybe people would not complains so much.

I agree with this too. Even including Broken Draenei, I really doubt many will play them.

Odyn-like Val’kyr, though… :eyes:

Quilboar for Alliance and Gnolls for Horde? Quilboars would be quite fun I think, though both races would have to be redesigned to accommodate armour.

high elves are horde. check the blood elf racial description on this very site if you dont know the lore

you know what ill just post the first sentence for you

For thousands of years, the high elves of Quel’Thalas drew strength from the Sunwell, a magical font of arcane energies.

Now assuming you have higher chars that are also LFD if you haven’t done so go take that 60 lfd into sure death runs. Wintergrasp SR zerg, ashran ROC. these will give you the certain death you seek.

The enemy will feel nothing to have healers going omg, I can’t heal this. It will be the smallest sliver ever of hp taken. You will heal nothing worth caring about. you will save no one.

VE got a good one, for casters. damage proc is rng. if it likes you sure its decent. If…

DI was yet another case of devs not knowing what is in their game. Raid is done dude. look at it, its magnificent.

Umm, dude, did you forget DI’s have this racial that wrecks it?

Crap…I guess I did. nerf

I in many ashrans or Arathi’s have not seen a flood of KT. I tend to not see them much at all really. Which would be good places for them.

Yeets off LM or ashran mage towers are hilarious to watch and very effective. same for AV alliance bridge.

Also…you send class/specs that do knockback not on crap timers. the enemy if wanting LM will be back for it long before the racial is up again.

Speaking for myself, I’d like to see the Saberon added as an Alliance Race.

The way I’d go about it, would be to lean on Leo’rajh’s story from WoD. He was the enlightened Saberon shaman you could get as a follower, after having been exposed to Apexis Crystals. If Leo’rajh had made a concentrated effort to unite and enlighten more of his brethren, it sets the stage for a more intelligent race that might better fit into the Alliance. If they were friendly with Yrel and the Draenei, it opens up a way for them to have such classes as Paladins, Priests, and Mages as well, on top of classes they’d already have such as Shaman/Druid/Warrior/Rogue/Hunter.

I think the Saberon would provide an interesting contrast to the Worgen in a way as well. Worgen are once-civilized people struggling to cope with bestial ferocity and savagery, seeking to master it. Saberon would be once-bestial and savage people struggling to embrace civility and culture. They both want the same thing, but for different reasons.

There’s more to the game than just PvP. The alliance allied races are very busted in PvE. It’s also unfair to look at the racials from just a PvP perspective. Seeing as you all you do is PvP, I understand your frustration. But it’s not validated when 2 of the 3 end game content (Raid and M+) are PvE based.

Sethrak, definitely. Give the Alliance something unique for a change.

No more stinking Elves! Night Elves were already the coolest Elven race in the game. If Blizzard could stop using them as the punching bag for their middle school tier fan fiction.

When I first started WoW, long before AR, I chose the Horde because that’s where all the fun races were. Of course Horde got the best Allied Races. I feel like when it comes to Allied Races, the Alliance players should have kept in mind what they signed up for (to be boring) and shouldn’t really expect anything better than what they have. Take your Dark Iron Dwarves, your British, your robot gnomes, and like it.
