What level do you start enjoying your alts?

BIGGEST problem right there, friend.

I’ve been leveling different characters for 3 years, barely any time at max level. I have 8 warlocks at 40+ and they only get better with each xpac.

Mid 30s warlocks are pure gold. I run with zero stats, just +shadow wrath greens and the Elemental Raiment (always 5g or less for some reason). Combined with a maxed out drain life, fel concentration, and void sac. I’m unstoppable. From 35 on the class ranges from overpowered to godmode depending on how cheap the +damage gear is. If I have gold a blue staff with a damage enchant will last 20 levels.

I couldn’t solo the princess quest in Arathi, or Overlord in HFP, but I soloed every last quest before that.

From 1-40ish, then 75-80.

Dislike badlands and tanaris. Loathe both plaguelands. Felwood, Feralas, Ungoro and Winterspring are OK. Boring Crusade zones are dreadful, and the start of WOTLK is vehicle mayhem which sucks.

I solo’d to get the Whirlwind ax on my warrior at level 36 the other day, it’s a lvl 40 elite mob and it was a tough fight,

Sure I could have called in for help, but then it wouldn’t feel as special if I made the fight trivial.

Still rocking that thing at level 44, and when I’m done with it, it’s staying in the bank this time.

I have big boost of fun from level 1, because the nostalgia of starting fresh, then it kind of fades around level 20-30. Thankfully Wrath gives mounts early, so it becomes a bit motivating. Fast mount at level 40 also helps.

I enjoyed when I hit 45 and gone straight to stratholme to be boosted nonstop till 60 by some latin paladin. Miss the old days…

Max level. Leveling is garbage I want boosting back.

Why is it a problem?

Majority of the US servers are probably 95%+ from the Americas with a sprinkling of OCE and SEA folk.

Obviously @ 3 am server time on a Wednesday you’re gonna struggle to get a group for anything

My guild raids @ 2:30 am server time because it’s 7-8pm in Australia, it’s very hard to recruit for that time slot. It’s just the nature of the beast

If you want groups around the clock you need to push for more oce/sea engagement on US servers

Max level…

Having 3x 80s and 5x 70s going through the same limited northrend quests/zones over and over has become a real chore.

Although i really enjoyed playing / gearing alts during wotlk pre-patch

Yea low lvl questing sucks right now. Can’t even find people to do group quests in the lower lvls let alone dungeons.

Level 35-50 is good, and then they’re typically a slog again until 71.

when my teammates stop clowning on my gear and asking what my resilience is, so I guess in wrath that’s a week or two after hitting 80, because that’s how easy it is to gear in this expansion.

Im struggling to find an alt for my hunter. No matter what I create, I delete after 10 levels.

1~10 is kindda fast and fun
10~20 is so annoying
20~40 is tedious unless there are enemy players to have fun fighting them
40+ more class utility and mount is where i start to enjoy wow
at cap level it’s game over > time to make another alt xD

You’re referencing peak times - not all players play during peak times.

I usually enjoy the early zones a lot. Finally getting shoulders (pre boa) feels like a huge step.

In tbc I felt like 30s/40s was where the talents started paying off but that might be different now idk. Only 1 class below lvl 70 that I’m saving for my laay 80.

level 1. Thanks.

Unfortunately that’s a personal problem? How can blizzard fix that? If no one is queueing then it doesn’t matter what mechanism is used to queue.

Blizzard can’t conjure players where no players exist?

I’m an altoholic. I start enjoying them at level 1, of course. Hell, 1-10 is some of the best nostalgia in the entire game IMO. But they ascend to a new level of fun at 40, typically, and then usually again at 50 and 60. It depends on the class, though, some mature sooner than others.

I feel ya sister
