my favorite MMO is swtor

my favorite oldie single player game of all time is mass effect 1

my favorite newer singleplayer game is either witcher 3 or final fantasy 7 remake or legend of zelda breath of the wild

Super Metroid and Chrono Trigger itā€™s hard to decide.

I loved them as a kid playing and I love replaying them as an adult, they still hold up well.

Outside of WoW im a very Hardcore RPG fan. My WoW Guild (All IRL Friends at this point) love to get together and play Dungeons and Dragons.
Occasionally I still love playing Heroes of the Storm.

Iā€™m a Huge fan of classic Shooters, Doom, Quake, Half Life.

Oh! And youā€™re not a gamer if you havenā€™t played Minecraft, of course. :pick:

Nier was great.

ā€œI only play mmoā€™sā€

Well gee, I wonder why.

Yeah, it really is good. I will admit, the game isnā€™t all that but the character development and character writing were fantastic.

Mass Effect. Any one of them, really. They all make me happy, even Andromeda (vanguard chhhaaaaarge). Nostalgia, being a space hero, fun gameplay, characters, storyā€¦ I love it.

Or X-com 2. I can genuinely play that game for entirely too long. Characters are strong, plot isnā€™t awful, just lots of fun.

Lately Iā€™ve been on a Wildermyth kick, which I highly recommend for anyone who wants to have their emotions procedurally generated-ly decimated. Good support for your own additions to the game, too.

Those and WoW are my desert island games.

andromeda was soooo horrible

but it did have the best combat system out of all the ME series, the rest of it was just painful though

Completely agree. The combat and exploration became extremely boring to me. I had to take a break, but wanting to know how the story ends is what brought me back. Iā€™m on the final 3 chapters right now, plan on finishing today and tomorrow.

This. The modding community for Skyrim is amazing. They have basically redone everything in the game at this point, put in next gen graphics, added new fighting mechanics, new monsters, new levels, new ways of playing.

Someone even made a ā€œMarioā€ mod where you basically play mario, only as a Skyrim character. Itā€™s crazy how much the community has done with it.

been playing a ton of dwarf fortress now that its out on steam.
iā€™d tried to get into it so many times before, but the ascii graphics were just impossible for my ADHD brain to process and keep track of everything. now that its got graphics iā€™m loving the hell out of it.

Hard to say. WoW is BY FAR my most played game and something I always come back to.
I donā€™t really have another game that I come back to so regularly like that. I donā€™t swap from WoW to any other specific thing when I get bored of it.

Hellblade: Senuaā€™s Sacrifice is by far one of my favorite single player experiences because of the story and how its presented. Itā€™s basically the only game like that that Iā€™ve ever bothered to replay just to experience it again.

And Iā€™ll probably never play it again. Itā€™s not a game built on replay value. But itā€™s still probably my favorite.

But I just have a hard time saying that with 100% confidence. I value multiplayer / long-term progression too much. Makes it easier to justify putting time into a game for me. But as I said, I donā€™t have a singular game after WoW that I default to, so I donā€™t even know what Iā€™d list here.
