My rarest mount is my Heavenly Onyx Cloud Serpent, and my most prized achievement I’d say its the What a Strange Trip its Been and/or the Loremaster.
My rarest mount is the all reps at exalted mount.
ZG tiger. Think it only took 8 runs.
Shackled Ur’zul. It took 24 weeks to get. My first cutting edge, my favorite mount, my most prized mount. Some website i was looking at some time ago showed it was the rarest mount i owned being registered on the fewest accounts of all the mounts i have.

i have a few pretty rare mounts…not sure off the top of my head which % is lowest, but I also use Data for Azeroth to track my progression pretty regularly! 
As for prized possession/achieve, it’s probably my Cycle armor and all the goodies that came with it. If we every get some sort of player housing, it’s def the set I’ll have in my showcase!
It was a great journey which kind of got me out of my shell to socialize, make friends and do something not many players were able to do back then 
my most prized possession is the murloc costume i got a deal on in WoD … rarest mount atm is my tcg mounts and world boss mounts (i have all the tcgs and all but mollie) but my favorite is mims head … not the new goblin wanna be mims head that isnt mims head 
The rarest mounts I have, according to World of Wargraphs Top Mounts, are from the WoW TCG. I have the Swift Spectral Tiger, Big Battle Bear, Feldrake, Mottled Drake, Savage Raptor, Ghastly Charger, X-51 Nether-Rocket, and X-51 Nether-Rocket X-TREME. Most of those are listed at 0.1-0.3% of the player base. The rarest mount drop I have, according to the same source, is the Cobalt Primordial Direhorn from Oondasta, which I was lucky enough to get back during MoP. It’s listed at 1.5%. Other than that, I would have to go with my Legion Mage Tower skins and my Arms Warrior’s challenge armor and mounts from MoP.
So according to this, the rarest mount in my collection is the blue X-52 Nether-Rocket. (the red one is more widespread due to it being available on the BMAH)
If we’re going to quantify how long it took, uh… about as long as it took to open my first pack of WoW trading cards.

not counting really recent achievements like A Taste of Perfection (0.006% but obviously that’ll go up tenfold every week)… apparently Challenge Master: Mogu’shan Palace is my rarest. that’s weird. i would have guessed either Mistwalker or CE Blackhand.
my rarest mount is the Magic Rooster… not very rare at all!
My Charger. Back in the day, that quest chain was a real beating.
This actually makes sense since the first achievement would give you Mistwalker, but so do any of the other challenge master achievements from MoP CMs. So more people would of course have Mistwalker than any specific challenge master achievement.
My original Quel’Serrar - it’s not the Gleaming or Burnished copies we have today, but the original! Actually I still have the Crusader Enchant on it from when I used to tank with it…
i do not have many things but i do have a spawn of horridon that i had obtained on my first time entering the raid!~!1 the best part is that i did not even know it existed i was trying 2 get a belt so that was p badass imo
I got Invincible on my second run. Then I went back the week after, because I still needed some mogs out of ICC, and it dropped again… I was alone. i’msosorry. I also got A’lar on my OLD account on my fifth run. Still yet to drop on this account though. I have more stories, but I don’t want to get hexed.

I’ve got a big love rocket collecting dust in mount collection that is apparently pretty rare.
Dataforazeroth seems pretty suspect because it tells me that my Yellow Marsh Hopper (nazmir frog) is only owned by 1% of the wow population. Pretty sure its purchasable from a vendor.
The least owned by percentage mount I have is probably the yellow marsh hopper because it seems to be the least popular color scheme of the frogs and for some reason.
But I’m most proud of being “the insane”. It simply felt great to get.
My rarest mounts going by Dataforazeroth are(excluding TCG) Silent Glider from Soundless and Ivory Hawkstrider from Legion PvP talon item.
Less people have those than the Big Love Rocket according to their numbers.
Silent Glider was definitely some dumb luck on my part, 20 or so kills total.
For pets, I think the Vanilla CE and RAF ones are my rarest you can no longer get. Some new SL pets are 1% ownership but they will be around for a while and likely become a bit more common.
I really thought Micronax would be more rare, but it’s at 4%, since it comes from ToS meta achievement.
