What is the point of appealing a wrongful ban when wait times are up to 20 days for a response?

They are and videos exist online that prove it. Streamers have had groups of people report a guy for saying hello. And they got a silence.

Because they aren’t
Silences and squelches aren’t bans, and everyone who has ever tried to “prove” an automated ban system in WoW just ended up proving that the automated silence system works as intended as folks who get folks to mass report someone is exploiting the system which means that the silence stays in place

Well if this is an issue on classic, I’m not sure why you guys are posting here. On retail it’s near impossible to get banned… unfortunately

Yep, a silence. Not a ban. There’s a difference.

Silences are automated to keep people from going off on spam rants for hours before a GM can deal with it. Once they review it, the more permanent punishment is passed down. It’s been said time and time again.

I dunno, they ran the 25 man Naxx while I was banned and cleared it in like 3 hours. shrugs

Tbh you would need a first support team to have two of them. 40 day responses tells me they barely have anyone.
