What is the last Boost you paid?

I’m so lazy getting carried is more effort than I’m willing to put in.

Some players have more than one character of a specific class. Some have one of every class, some go a step further and have one of every class on both factions, the list goes on and on (I for example have a warrior of every race because I can, have a few doubles as well, and every race can be a warrior FYI). So you can’t compare your experience to everyone else’s. Plus most of these players also played these toons in BFA, in Legion, etc. So even it’s their first 60 of that class, they’re not a complete noob.

And I wasn’t. I was speaking for myself. I even said it didn’t bother me.

None. If I am not able to earn my WoW achievements then I can live with it.

I don’t remember the last boost I actually paid for, if you even want to call it that.

I have friends.

I suppose it would be Garrosh, if I were to choose.

Typically if you want to gear a new 60 fast, you buy a H SoD clear with 4 funnels which unless the RNG gods hate you/your 4 funnels is plenty to get you straight into +15’s. And if there’s something you’re missing specifically, that’s where a +15 boost comes in handy, run a specific dungeon a few times and since they’re funneling you all the loot, shouldn’t take to long to get what you’re missing.

This is a case where buying a carry makes sense. They had a system in 9.0.5 where getting KSM on one toon let you upgrade gear on your alts. They probably removed it to inconvenience players. It’s one of the reasons I didn’t play 9.1

Depending on how alt friendly 9.2 is will determine if I stick around

Siege of Orgrimar Heroic Garrosh weapon for my pally before I felt confident enough to do full raids myself.

Never
ever
in my life

ETA:
Why the hell would I pay someone to basically play my game for me? I don’t get it why play the damn toon if you want to not actually play it?

This has been one of the biggest pains in 9.1 to be honest. You can’t upgrade your gear to 12/14 (yeah it says 12/12, but there’s 2 more levels beyond that which only come from the vault) until you get KSM on that toon. It’s beyond frustrating. I have 1000’s of valor sitting on my alts I can’t spend due to not having KSM on them. I have gotten it on 3 toons now, while the rest I just do my weekly +15 on them and do try and make sure I run something that will upgrade my score. Eventually they will get there (not with 9.2 on the horizon I suspect).

I almost paid for nightmare boost, almost. I had level 50 alt in the damn maze for 4 months, I would log in and do the maze once every 2 weeks or so for about 30 minutes or so only to give up and try again after few weeks. But after 4 months I got lucky.

If only there was a boost for Old Crafty.

Well, I’m not sure when the definition changed. A boost was power leveling a toon to max level in various ways. A carry was a paid service to get AOTC mounts.

I bought a carry in WoD for the last raids AOTC, believe it was the moose.

I don’t know why they removed it. Maybe raiders were complaining. Maybe they wanted those time/played metrics. Maybe they wanted to sell more WoW tokens. Maybe they wanted people to do higher keys on alts. (I hate doing high keys on alts because there’s specific roles I’m just not good at).

Idk. It was a good system though and if raiders were jealous they could’ve done a similar system with raids where the bosses dropped currency.

Yeah I’m with you. I have no idea why mount buyers are lumped in with this.

I see people talking about buying gear (in just a few posts above yours) and to me that’s boosting your character. A mount doesn’t increase my character’s power in any way. I don’t see the difference between buying a mount from a guild or buying a mount from a vendor.

But whatevs. If people want to call me a booster, that’s fine. Can’t wait to “boost” my character with the next AOTC mount. Hope it’s a good one.

Ugh it’s hideous but I guess a +1 is a +1.

Thanks for the link.

This right here.

I buy leveling and gear boosts. I have more money than I have time so I just buy a few WoW tokens to skip past the boring parts of the game that I do not like.

I got the level boost with WoD and I mained that character for six years, so that’s something. I won’t pay for carries though if that’s what you’re talking about. I’m not a great player but my gear is doing a good enough job of carrying me rn so I don’t feel the need.

I will get duelist soon, if not this patch then next, or maybe never and so what? Not the end of the world. I could time 23s and I think that’s pretty good. I don’t raid but I could probably get six or so bosses before getting bored out of my mind.
