it is. and yours is a different interpretation. see how clear cut rules on what is a personal attack would solve that problem?
Did you ever get started?
There are some pretty clear cut rules on what personal attacks are. “Use your brain and figure it out” is very much not a personal attack.
I wasn’t talking about you.
Genuinely and sincerely I cannot fathom why you would be afraid to run M+ at all if you never leave anyway.
You even get a buffer to leave once in a while if you need to.
But you don’t even leave at all, so what’s the problem.
Is it a principle thing?
it is an implication of someones level of intelligence in this context. you are trying to say im dumb because i do not agree with your opinion. so yes its a personal attack in this context.
but again, we apparently disagree. so clear cut defined rules would solve that problem.
It’s a command telling you to use your own brain to figure it out yourself
It’s an implication that you are intelligent enough to do this on your own and you don’t need my help.
been explained a million times and will continue to explain it a million times more.
allowing people to hold others hostage in a m+ group because leaving = ban is not a good thing. and yes even if there is some arbitrary buffer.
ok cool then why are you arguing with me if thats the case?
Yeah, I guess. I don’t handle vague threats well. Especially from people Im paying money to.
You tell me the rules, Ill follow them. You threaten me with punishment without making things clear…Well, I guess we’ll see how long my sub lasts.
I guess luckily for them, Ive paid up through march. So they have my money, but they also will have to hear how much I hate this until then
I blame all the tryptophan personally.
Especially if you can’t take a nap.
Seemingly because you enjoy arguing for the sake of arguing, so any comment made has to turn into an argument for you, and I’m still responding because I’m too stupid and/or bored to take that fact and make the smart decision to just ignore you.
weird. you are entirely unable or refuse to respond to ANY of the points i made. that we need and want clear cut rules and more clarity would help that.
in fact if the original post had said, "hey guys we are banning leavers but 99.9% of you wont be banned ,go about your business " we wouldnt even be here right now talking about this.
you are so intelligent yet you absolutely refuse to awknowledge blizz could and should be more clear because… idk you are too stubborn to admit we are right and your wrong i guess? fragile ego maybe?
I would think you would at least wait to see how this change impacts you, if you can continue to keep playing the way you have been without encountering the punishment. Who knows, this may even benefit you.
But I can’t really argue your principles and it’s your time and money to do with as you please.
the way bootlickers are describing it here, more than 1 guy because plural, and realistically less than 5 because that’s how many people do “100 dungeons a week and leave 90”
It was probably zero if you’ve kept up with blizz PR even just the last 2 years- they only speak hot air, so it’s likely zero people, scare tactics for good players to stop leaving bad players behind, and to make bad players think they got their first win in TWW.
Clown community
thats another good point. the people defending the vagueness keep saying its only the very tiny percentage of outlier that are affected by this, and yet they needed a whole announcement for it, and people on the forums keep acting as if its some giant problem
so which is it? small tiny outliers griefing? or massive problem all over the forums?
exactly
Not ban wave. Suspensions. Why do people keep calling suspensions bans?
I’m assuming its imprecise by intent. “Oh,” they say, “our bad, it means more than 8 per day”. Ah, thinks griefer, I will then bomb out people’s keys 7 times per day. That will be fun!
Maybe?
a suspension can be permanent. a ban can be temporary. they are interchangeable really in this context. its just if they decide either is temp or perm
Who do you think is going to cause more unhappiness…
The, in theory, very few people out there actually griefing keys
Or the people that are scared to leave once they get into their 2nd or 3rd bad pug group of the day. Those are the people that will have to suffer while deciding to carry the bads or roll the dice on a 7 day ban.
I agree, dropping keys to grief is bad. But trying to regulate things like this through fear and uncertainty is much worse. It will negatively affect far more “normal” players than actual griefers
