Great another pointless thread on this topic. Blizz isn’t going to clarify specifics on how many is too many as it would allow people to tow the line without penalty. If you are so worried about it maybe you are part of the problem.

Sure. I’m part of the problem. I dont like unclear threats.
But Blizz wins this one. They have made sure that I am too scared to do M+ now.
When you use fear as a enforcement technique…dont be surprised when people react accordingly
again we are back at the logical conclusion that to avoid punishment the only thing people can do is not leave at all. thus leading to being held hostage to m+ groups.

No one does, that’s the point of it.
This is irrational, you’re not going to get banned for doing M+, you’d only get suspended for leaving too often. A rational person would say, “okay, I’m not going to leave unless it’s absolutely necessary”, not “I’m just not going to do it”.
But I think you proved his point. If you leave so often that your immediate response is “if I can’t do it the way I’ve been doing it I’m just not going to do it at all”, then you likely are the problem.

And as much as you don’t want to hear it, this is a valid question for people to have. What is considered “excessive”? I may consider someone leaving say 10 keys in a week excessive, but someone else may not.
Give them a leaver penalty like we do for folks who leave LFR or LFD content then. Make the penalty for leaving an m+ group an hour and call it good. Otherwise yes, if a key is going to brick, or the group just can’t cut it, leaving is absolutely part of the game. Why would I continue to waste my time or that of the group just because you don’t like it?
This is your problem, you say it’s okay for people to leave a group occasionally, but simultaneously say if they leave too often they should be banned. You’re trying to have your cake and eat it too and setting a very dangerous precedent in the process. You’re basically telling people they have no right to leave a privately formed group. You’re basically telling people “keep going even though the key is bricked or else”.
All this stupidity is going to do is cause people to avoid m+ all together because they don’t want to risk a ban for leaving because Johnny 2x4 can’t be bothered to interrupt and it’s causing issues. Or worse it’s going to cause people to troll the groups until they get kicked from the group as a result, so they can say they didn’t “leave” but were kicked.
If we’re going to say that people should be banned for leaving an “excessive” amount of m+ keys, then people absolutely have a right to know what is meant by excessive.

I am the person that never leaves groups but will never do another M+ because I hate crap like this.
Or only leave when absolutely necessary.
Thus sticking to your commitment that you made to the group you signed up for, yes.
Don’t think I ever disagreed that the goal is to deter leaving, so I’m not sure what you won. You’re still not getting the number.
You didn’t get suspended. Logic dictates that the amount you leave and the reasons you leave for do not trigger the suspension.

and when is absolutely necessary? ask 1000 people it will all be diffenent. once again, clear cut rules and more clarity would solve this problem.
If you never leave why would you be so concerned about a suspension / ban for leavers?
