Came back to check out Fractures and I’m joining all of these BGs with people who don’t ever try to complete the objective to win. I’m watching my teams just throw themselves at the enemy team and I’m very confused at what is going on. If I say something to my team about grabbing the flag, an orb, or defending a node I get trolled.
What is going on in random BGs? Why are people totally ignoring objectives to just die over and over again? Am I missing something?
Horde is having a major temper tantrum too. Wanting to win makes you the enemy against your own team. I tell them to play arena or mortal kombat if they just wanna practice fighting. Surprised I haven’t been banned or mass reported yet.
This is just every BG for the past 18 years.
Shadowlands really did ruin pvp.

Largely because of blizz’s terrible PvP design and balance, some people think all BGs are is a place to kill kill kill. They couldn’t care less about objectives.
With no joke, try to join to the thousand premade teams that alliance do for random bgs, every random bg against alliance, always at least 4 or 5 players are on the same server with coordinate plays and almost the entire team at least 440 pvp ilvl.
I want to use merc mode but idk why blizzard disable it, i think a lot of horde players go merc because of this and this result on horde players bg population go down, even until today we have the faction buff.
Merc mode is only available for the more popular faction when things are imbalanced.
It’s meant to help reduce their queue times.
Honestly not a bad call.
BFG is bad precisely because chances are if you lose the first team fight, it’s over.
As holycow said, merc mode is up to the more populated faction in order to reduce queue times. Merc mode is up. It’s up for Alliance. It’s been up for Alliance for a while now without switching back to Horde. More people are playing Alliance than Horde in DF.
And chances are that it’ll swing the other way and you win.
You’re part of the problem with PvP.
Quitters are a plague and we need another Arthas event to get rid of y’all.
I think Blizzard should change random bgs to cross-faction teams. And add a hidden MMR.
This would allow the matchmaking system to create more balanced teams. We’d have fewer games where it’s like a randomly assembled 1500 team goes against a randomly assembled 1800 team.
Players would be less likely to feel that the game is already over before the gates even open, and then confirmed by the first team fight.
Gates open.
Entire teams wipes in the mid/on a road/at a single node.
You’re standing there going “this is fun?”.
Bring back the fun in pvp. Stop allowing everyone to do 900000000000000 damage in one salvo of their cds.

Oh right my bad, I forgot seeing multiple people from the same server = a premade and you definitely don’t look like a doofus if you start crying premade if you see 2 people from the same server

Sync qers don’t premade too
God I’m glad we had that guy with infinite knowledge on how premades work to clear that up for us
