What happened to Tirisfal?

I did, a very nice Druids shade of green that they have been, if I recall right, since he surpassed Ysera back in Stormrage. Though I still hope we see him in Cat Form some day, too.

Did you notice how none of the visible eyes of the night elves changed in this cutscene, Amadis?

Are you trying to prove me right against Mara? That’s kind of you. Treng.

To note, however, you should check the entire scenario:

Because here we have Before with glowing eyes:

And After with changed eyes:

Wait. Amadis.

Shandris was present. She does not have black eyes.

They are just generic NPCs, they could have been anywhere. Saying they were not there is also headcanon.

Yes, there is actually and I’ve linked it several times, but you just refuse to accept the story Blizzard is writing. The alliance is risking it all WITH the help of the horde rebellion, they are done if they don’t win. There is also a large night elf force at the assault.

His title is literally “Cinematic Director for World of Warcraft”

Yes. That was my point to Mara. Witnessing the ritual is not a factor.

The units in the scenario were different NPCs than the ones in Boralus.

Terran Gregory at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aEHc8le_Qpk&t=1m21s :

I’m Project Director for Creative Development, Story and Franchise Development for Blizzard. SFD. A long time ago it was called Blizzard Film Department, and they rebranded it because it got much bigger than just the film department. It started bringing in the video department, and the sound department, and the concepting and vision and creative development- Creative development didn’t used to be under the same umbrellas as cinematics. It was its own entity doing books and comics. Cinematics was doing its thing over here. And when we brought them all together kind of under one roof, Blizzard Film department didn’t fit any more. And so they rebranded it Story and Franchise Development to make it seem more like this is what we do: whether it’s sound or music or concept art or video. It’s all the properties. Even just Blizzard in general. The video department is doing Blizzard’s videos, like when it comes to just messaging from Blizzard. It may not even be attached to an IP. We do all of it.

So you’re telling me that the night elven adopted daughter of the High Priestess of Elune doesn’t fight on behalf of Elune?
:face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Seems not. I would posit she and Malfurion fight more on behalf of the Night Elf people than for Elune.

Can you prove that claim?

If her eyes do not darken than she is not fighting on behalf of the Night Warrior aspect of Elune. I believe she is fighting on behalf of the Night Elves, but I do not have a quote where she says so in those exact words. The closest I can find is her epilogue dialogue:

Although the Kaldorei suffered greatly in this war, it is time for us to heal and rebuild.

We can still look to the future without forgetting the past…

You forgot the part where she’s praying.

You know.

To her Goddess.

Texas Sharpshooter Fallacy does not apply here, as the conclusion is not false conclusion, as it is the conclusion Terran Gregory gave us. If you would like to explain what data on what causes a Night Elf’s eyes to darken that is being ignore feel free to, else wise you should do a little more research into the Texas Sharpshooter Fallacy if you want to use it correctly.

A pledge made to the people lost at Teldrassil also supports my proposal that she is fighting for the Night Elf people.

Except that Tyrande blasts your whole argument sideways because she isn’t fighting for Elune at all. She’s mad about the people who died in Teldrassil. She has a bone to pick with Elune.

Which, again, you use singular evidence to try to justify. Which is a Texas Sharpshooter.

And yet she is still empowered by Elune, which suggest she’s not having that great of a crisis of faith at all.

Once again, try doing a little more research on what this means:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texas_sharpshooter_fallacy

Texas Sharpshoot Fallacy is using large sets of data, not a singular point of data.

“Terran Gregory said that night elves who fight for Elune have black eyes, ergo the only truth can be that night elves with black eyes are the only ones fighting for Elune.”

Tyrande: Is not fighting for Elune, has black eyes. Is enraged by Elune’s uselessness and her absence during her people’s deaths.

Shandris: Praying fervently to her Goddess. Normie eyes.

You ignore that another answer is that Terran could just be wrong.

If you don’t want to read how Texas Sharpshooter Fallacy actually works and would rather listen to a sourceless PBS video, please feel free to continue to not know what you are talking about.

The Texas sharpshooter fallacy is an informal fallacy which is committed when differences in data are ignored, but similarities are overemphasized.

Shandris doesn’t have black eyes. She prays to Elune faithfully. Tyrande is enraged by Elune and believes that Elune abandoned her people. She has black eyes.

They can change armor, same as Tyrande just magically changing armor for the night warrior thing.

Did you read the description you wrote?

It’s still the same job, he’s just in charge of the cinematics as usual, he’s not making the story.

Good start. Keep reading:

The Texas sharpshooter fallacy often arises when a person has a large amount of data at his or her disposal, but only focuses on a small subset of that data.

Terran Gregory says that Night Elves who fight for Elune have black eyes. (Correct me if this quote is wrong, I’m going off of memory and I’ve read it exactly one (1) time.)

Tyrande states she has a bone to pick with Elune. She is actively fighting for the night elven people.

Shandris may or may not be fighting for the night elven people, however she is praying to her Goddess.

Malfurion is fighting the same war as Tyrande. His eyes are not Black.

Shandris states that Tyrande needs to “let go of the Black Moon’s Rage and come back to the Mother’s Light.” suggesting that Tyrande isn’t fighting for Elune, but instead is feeding on the Night Warrior rage instead.

You ignored basically all points of information, selecting instead to go only with what Terran Gregory stated.
