She’s only marked as a villain for now. Once her master plan to regain her agency and overthrow the patriarchy of the Titans/Void Lords we will see she was the true hero all along.
ok but that’s a different thing. The story doesn’t have direction - certainly not in BFA - we know that. Bad writing is a separate issue.
Superficial questions, when it all comes down to money, nothing matters.
And the generation fart is adding woods to the fire faster than you are able to unzip your pants to take a dump, they would buy anything, any-thing.
Story, lore, w/e I don’t care.
Make the raids great, make the m+ great, and funnily they are getting bad too.
If you really really really focus on the details, there are great things, but again unfortunately, they want a fast-pace game with zero exploring, do everything fast and fast, run run run.
Annnnnnd we still don’t know what Tyr did, lol.
Nah, theyre connected. they clearly thought that story was more worthwhile than a solid void arc. And that’s a problem since most people did not give a crap about Jaina’s relationship with her mother. we were supposed to be going to Kul-tiras to get a damned fleet to fight the horde. Not playing therapist with extra steps.
explosive di-di is pretty dark subject matter to me…
dark.
MoP was great.
The progression of the story was amazing…
If it’s really dark to black you may wanna consult your physician. That’s not a good sign.
fixed it.
I didn’t say it was bad, just that it wasn’t as dark as the previous ones. And pandas.
Bane’s rampage. Fyrakk torching a Niffen village. The Nokhud civil war stuf. Fyrakk torching someone else that finds him. All the really dark stuff in Zaralek. There is dark stuff all over the place.
But then, I guess people don’t read quest text and don’t actually pay attention to anything, lol. Just because there isn’t a cutscene of a shirtless orc going “RAARRRRRRRRRGH!” doesn’t mean there isn’t dark stuff in the game.
where have all the good times gone…
That was all pretty tame though. Oh no! a dragon? doing the one thing dragons are known for? to a village? who would have guessed that would happen in a story about dragons!? crazy! And Niffin are too cutesy not to be targeted, so thats a given. Baine’s rampage was so bloody weak too fren.
Would be interesting if the void took over Dagran after he was told that grandpa killed his dad.
Shadowlands took the last remaining edge lord-ness. But I suspect it will cycle again at some point.
This game has never, ever in 20 years, never been truly dark. At most a teeny tiny lil goth happy go lucky princess in a few areas, but never dark.
Warhammer though, when they used to hang cheaters in game, that was dark.
Why can’t we go back to Archimonde, commander of the Burning Legion, one of the strongest beings to haunt the cosmos playing with a sand castle. Return to grimdark.
Yeah that " Warhammer" argument is played out and actually false. Ppl that use the Warhammer argument, please state the digital Warhammer game at the time of Warcraft: Orcs vs Humans & World of Warcraft Vanilla that was in competition with those games that validates that statement. Obviously they never had a collector’s edition of RTS Warcraft and read the lore story book that came with it. Dark ASF They really think the same ppl that created Diablo made WoW to somehow counter balance the same dark grit across ALL their games?? Even the StarCraft franchise has that same dark and grit AND if any Blizzard game that was Warhammer influenced was definitely StarCraft
Hm. Well I didn’t experience the Bain story so I can’t really judge it, but because it’s Baine I doubt it was actually very “dark.” Or at least my definition of dark. And the Nokhud are about as dark as vanilla milquetoast. But then all the DF centaurs kinda sucked so the bar wasn’t high to begin with. The Niffen thing was decently dark and grim for current era Blizz, particularly when you find some of the bodies afterwards. But that’s really all that stood out. Like I said, I didn’t play DF much beyond leveling to the prepatch event so maybe there was more.
Warhammer online.
It really wasnt. It was a story about Baine mistaking the centaur’s intentions and following a revenge plot that actually went nowhere. He reflected on it after and it was a massive nothing burger.
