TBC is really successful right now, Itās just not a PVP expansion and the honor grind isnāt really possible for a casual playerbase.

Thatās debatable, both are flaming piles of 
really. Iām waiting on Wotlk tbh, kinda hoping that it will be fun. From what I can tell though it just seems stupidly gear-dependent.

Iāve been around on Emerald Dream for quite some time. Emerald Dream was a amazing community. If blizzard were more CCP games. They would maybe still have a stronger player base on ED.
Blizzard let communities like emerald dream crumble and die. While Blizz was blowing off itās fan base. EVE online was having comic books written about player events and battles. EVE online developer community had a direct line to groups that represented to player concerns and issues. Meanwhile blizzard is only now implementing a player council. I mean seriously dude, to little to late. Iām sure Microsoft possible launching WoW on hand held and council will boost their numbers. Once that happens, community councils might go to garbage.
Current Emerald Dreamers will never know about Zajiwaās server wide attacks lead against Alliance cities. He was my inspiration to do the same. Man, there was so much cool stuff that happened.
I miss it. I donāt really play anymore.
