What exactly is Blizzard doing?

Sounds like you want 10.1, 10.2, 10.3 all released on same day as 10.0 Honestly the changes they are making make me excited. If they play it right 10.0 will be solid then boom we get news about 10.1 coming and new stuff things added on top of a solid base instead of some expansion wide system that people will generally hate until X.2 or X.3 release of the expansion. BFA sucked till 8.3 SL sucked till 9.2. I left after 9.0 cause it was a dumpsterfire.

Hundreds of quests. Daily hubs. Maybe weekly quests. Treasure jumping puzzles because the community LOVES those for some reason.
Rares. Stuff to collect. Battle pets. Ducks. How to tame your Warcraft dragon stuff.

Like…there’s more to the expansion than 1 raid and 4 dungeons.

But if you only want to cherry pick 5 things and say “that’s it,” then by all means go ahead.

It’s like going to McDonalds and being a Karen to the employees because you only are paying attention to the chicken nuggets on the menu, when there’s 40 other hamburgers, mcflurries, muffins, chicken sandwiches, fish sandwiches, deluxe and limited time burgers right there, too.

Because systems were never the problem, it was their implementation and how impacted alt gameplay and respected time, also they can implement system for other kind of content like Worldquest on old continents for each holiday, PVP brawls specific for each holiday (example, a snowball power that you can launch to enemies and teleport to their location like League of legends or some mechanic like overwatch arcade modes), there’s a lot of space for new systems and gameplay that’s not attached to player power.

Yeah there definitely weren’t a ton of threads about how lame ZM was for having these, how poorly executed they always are, and how they are particularly challenging for differently abled folks.

Different groups within the community want different things. This is clearly exemplified with the Flying/No-Flying crowd.

So yeah, no matter what Blizz does someone will complain lol.S

I know, right?!

But the developers are laser focused on adding that “content” everywhere they can.

I legitimately get pissed when I miss a jump by 5 millimeters, and get stuck with a 50 gold repair bill–only to find in the chest a grey item worth 10 gold.

The devs need to steer away from Metroid and start adding hundreds of side quests in its’ place.

It would still be entirely optional to do those little quests…and they could offer the same rewards as the chests…but having it in a quest format would make it more organic to the nature of the game.

I was trying to be sarcastic.

I absolutely hate them with every fiber of my being and soul.

I don’t know what the quest devs do between patches, since later patches have fewer quest and some ZM quest are like not required at all, like killing x amount of things or another activity, they could create new questlines for each holiday every year, instead those events are left behind, there’s plenty of players that could pay a sub if there’s a new questline with a reward but they don’t do anything besides the major questlines and a few side quest.

I know.

I wish they 'd stick hundreds of new quests all around the world. For example with Dragonflight…put hundreds of additional quests in all the other expansions so we can see how the events of Dragonflight are affecting the rest of the world.

It would be fun!

Do that in addition to the quests already included in the expansion.

I’ve tried to explain this to people when they say “Blizzard doesn’t listen”.

Who are they supposed to listen to?

Under what precedent? Prior to Mists of Pandaria, we never got the full scope of the expansion until it was well into beta. We had a rough idea of what we were getting, but we would always get more details as development went on.

My thoughts.is that they haven’t revealed everything yet. It probably won’t launch till next year so it doesn’t overlap with the Wrath Classic launch this year. I would assume at least a year away, maybe a year and a half.

I’ll just give it time. I’ve never gotten mad over something before its out or even mad at all. Then again I’m pretty casual so that’s probably why lol.

talent rework takes a lot of work, profession rework takes a lot of work, and EVERY CLASS is getting reworked too because talents will be giving you skills, so classes have to work without some skills in case the person decides not to pick them…its a lot of work and thank god they decided to go that route, im tired of systems, you are in the minority ,

Time will tell. I personally expect a STEEP falloff after launch once people realize there’s nothing to do.

And there’s nothing wrong with that. What’s the deal with trying to make this a job and cramming so much grinding and systems into the game. People barely even talk in trade chat because everyone’s so busy.

If the game is fun people will make their own content or do what we traditionally did, farm gold and do professions.

So what? That’s not content lmfao.

Talents, Professions, and gearing are all systems. Yet another GD parrot.

It’ll happen. Subs will continue to drop.

Those are core systems…
Better to improve general gameplay instead of adding multiple layers of systems on top of systems.

Talents, gear and professions were a thing since the beginning.

Yeah only took 15 FREAKING YEARS :joy:

WoW is DEAD in Dragonflight boys I hate to say it. Blizzard continues to give the BARE MINIMUM

Until release we don’t know it all …

From what we have seen, all things they are doing takes extensive time to implement…
Talent system from scratch again…
Added azerite, conduit and artefact passives try and balance this to the appropriate amount
