Changes are only just now being made. Let’s use some logic here.
Constant jokes about such things affect people different ways. If you can’t be empathetic and open minded, then kindly don’t respond.
Do you know how many people have quit since shadowlands started? It doesn’t take much at this point to make people leave and claiming otherwise is just naive. You can see it in game just by how many players are there

We can’t give into everything that MIGHT offend someone. I’m offended by female worgen, lets remove them.
This isn’t political, this directly impacts the game, this does take developer away from much more important things.

If this is the case the ingame chat needs to be moderated and that means many more jobs.
A few lines? Have you seen the full list of changes? It’s far more than a few lines at this point.

None of which are substantial. No new models have been made (except incubus eventually, presumably) no new coding has been done, there’s no new scenarios. It’s literally just name changes. That takes all the time of looking up a value and typing in a new one. The whole developer time bs is just a smokescreen.
The actual problem is that people are anti-progressive and see anything slightly leaning in that way as an attack on their culture, which is stupid and reactionary.
I’m pretty sure that as a company nothing is more important than responding to the harrasment/inclusion crisis
They even had developers tweeting earlier this year that all work had stopped after the announcement

They actuallly did change a bunch of the models in karazhan and black temple not like in a major way but they did change physical in game stuff to something different
Fine, they swapped a few existing NPCs to a different model, all of which are just blood elf males in whatever random appropriately themed outfit they could find.
Ten minutes rather than five, for those.

they changed what they morphed into to match as well its a different ghost and the succubus is now a satyr for the males so 15 mins 
Ah yes… everyone else is the problem. Not your inability to understand that a hostile environment can absolutely take these little things too far. Nope, it’s them never you.

It really doesn’t. Changing names of NPCs downstairs change your gameplay. Use /e for your own jokes, flirts, etc. They aren’t changing mogs, so that’s never an issue.
Swapping in a few males isn’t some huge change. BT already had males in it.

For now, wouldn’t be the first time blizzard has gone back on something they said they weren’t doing.
This whole thing just sets a bad precedence, half this stuff really had no way of offending anyone.
The changed the ghost model, some of the females to a completley different belf model that didnt exist in bt it came from somewhere else and changed the succubus forms to satyrs when needed.
Making yourself mad over what might happen is silly.

I’m not mad, I’m more disappointed than anything in the choices they’ve made to the game.
I was already leaning on quitting retail, probably will now.
