What do you want to see in the next expansion?

More content, less to no “systems” for borrowed power. Just let us have our abilities through leveling and let us play the game. Put more work into class design, flying at max level and the only thing you have to do is press space bar…. Ummm yeah. Just focus on content.

Dragonsworn…spec depends on what flight they serve. Red or green could be healing, blue could be caster DPS.

The main thing I want to see is my “Horde Triforce of Hope!™” become true with the following races becoming playable Horde races:

:small_red_triangle::crocodile: Courage! (Saurok)

:small_red_triangle::bat: Wisdom! (San’layn)

:small_red_triangle::japanese_ogre: Power! (Ogres)

Also, more character slots per account would be awesome. :smiley:

I honestly don’t even know what I want for the next expansion. Where can you really go after stepping into the land of death itself? The Burning Legion and most of WoWs major opponents are dead.

Are we going to go flying into the Void for Legion 2.0? WoW 2.0?

Which aspects specifically do you want from Vanilla / Wrath / TBC? It’s a broad statement so I’m just curious.

For example, I’d much rather stick with modern class / spec design than return to the braindead and boring designs of the past. I also really enjoy Mythic plus and that was a post-Legion thing. They can definitely tone down some of the borrowed power and PARASITIC systems though.

WoW is at its core the same game as it was during WOTLK if you look at it from a gameplay perspective. Remove the borrowed power system and M+ and you’ll see the real lack of innovation in 10+ years.

Azeroth focused, update all the zones to current game time. Have the world function like Risk, most zones can be captured or claimed by horde or alliance.

A massive drop in the number of currencies - specifically the ones designed to put the game on rails.

I’m looking at you grateful offerings. Possibly the worst currency I’ve ever seen in a game.

To be totally honest, I can handle even the abysmal systems (love the game, but HATE systems) if the lore is interesting enough. I truly hope we’ll be back on Azeroth again soon, doing more… mundane things. I miss feeling like a common adventurer rather than the Commander / General / Wielder of So-and-So Artifact / Champion of Azeroth / Maw Walker.

I want to see a Ny’alotha and an Old Gods expansion! :smiley:

Oh wait… Bummer…

:frowning:

I want to see a WoW 2. A completely new game with a newer graphics engine that is as good as WoW 1 was. but I’ll probably play whatever is there, so it doesn’t matter that much.

how about some sober devs and some real, NEW designing/programming?

do away with factions, and they better retrieve anduin intact…seriously

I suspect the currency was put in to ensure that the “correct” content was being run. It wasn’t enough to run some content - they needed a way to make sure we would participate in the right content. It’s just horrible and one of the reasons I spend more time in older expansions.

All of Azeroth involved. I’m tired of only using a tiny sliver of this great big universe.

Oh and … let me find the thread

This :point_down:

I’d really like to fix things around Azeroth :+1:
I don’t really care about fighting Thanos, I’d be happy to just repair the dam at Loch Modan or even better fix up and use Gilneas City :smiley:

More fun. Fun characters, a bit more fun story. (but not way out there like a certain expansion) More positive vibes and atmosphere. Would be nice to get iconic tier sets back.

I kinda been rooting for the original DND feel of the game. (Classic Vanilla was pretty successful) A previous poster on this thread mentioned how to possibly get that vibe back. Whatever the theme, hoping for something more fun.

Oh and I like the idea of having flying again.

Bring back Need or Greed rolls on loot - but keep the vault. Now that there’s a vault to back it up it will add some spice and drama but people won’t rage-quit over it.

Only thing that would work for me is for Ion to step down and go back to raiding where he belongs. Anything other than that is just going to be some twisted bs that Ion and Co. thinks is good.
