NP, it’s still faster than random BGs but much more reasonable. I got nerfed a bit less for the larger maps (AB and DWG) and nerfed more for the smaller maps.

Arena is probably the main reason casters and melee underwent a major arms race because class imbalances are much more pronounced in small 3v3 settings.

Yes. Many of the things that people complain about are the result of trying to balance arena. “Why can’t my spec have a mortal strike too?”

In Ions recent interview he speaks about how he’s always preferred BGs over arenas. He said, “personally, I felt it’s the best part of WoW PvP,” when speaking about BGs and specifically, the new Battleground Blitz, over “death match style” arena.

It’s around the 20minute mark in the new interview.

if the comestics are fire in bg blitz then thats what ill play. if theyre fire for solo shuffle or arenas ill queue that.

They are really going to have to up the leaver penalty if blitz is going to be the dominant game mode.

And who doesn’t see the flood of threads about team mates giving up when losing being why someone lost rating.

Blitz has stealth nodes in AB, DWG and BFG where any class can use them to go for ninja caps and has shadowsight nodes in AB, DWG, BFG and EOTS to help defend against stealth classes.

Well, there was a point where it required the use of a launcher that was used for other stuff so I think it was sort of, like, collateral damage kind of thing.

Generally a meme for when they actually got banned or dq for something else. People have actually used it to make arena easier though but we won’t discuss that lest people get ideas.

I think shuffle really showed how bad arena is.

Or has become.

BGs have always fit a lot more with the way classes are balanced.

I support shifting the focus to BGs over arena
