Netflix: Lucifer

Netflix-The Last Kingdom, Lucifer, Narcos, Money Heist, The Witcher, Ozark, Black Mirror
Amazon Prime-The Boys, Jack Ryan, Vikings, Hunters

Amazon: The man in the high castle. Took me ages to start watching it then binged in 2 weeks (most shows take me months and months. If I finish at all).
Netflix: Hannibal was pretty good. Lucifer is decent. Nothing that absolutely gripped me though.

Netflix - Evangelion

Prime - House M.D

Shows I stay away from, Cuties… self explanitory

all of these listed are great,
currently watching The Witcher (Im planning on getting into the books since season 2 could take a while).
Altered Carbon, Dark Matter, Supernatural. All on netflix.
I need to investigate Amazon Prime’s library so I’ll be hitting up the ones everyone’s listed. We’ve had it for years but primarily for the shipping.

I thought Enterprise was ok, whole season greatly overshadowed by it’s season 3, I really liked their desperate race against time, underdogging it to save earth.

I cancelled my Netflix sub a while back, more so staying away now for the obvious reason of the recent issue they had releasing a certain movie I will not name.

As for Amazon Prime. Vikings is a must watch if you like action, history and just that overall theme. I should note Travis Fimmel is the actor playing the main character. He’s the same guy who played Anduin Lothar in the Warcraft movie. AMAZING Actor. Currently playing in Raised by Wolves on HBO Max.

Prime:
Preacher, The Boys (directed by Seth Rogan, hilarious un-censored mayhem).
Jack Ryan
American Gods (amazing cast, a little frantic pacing at first)

Netflix:
The 100
Stranger Things (a big Goonies vibe movie)
Warrior Nun (sounds aweful but it’s good)
Project Power
Eurovision
Dark Matter (I wish it still continued!)

Not gonna mention the more obvious movie blockbusters that do the theater tour.

For Netflix:
Kingdom (Korean zombie tv series with 2 seasons), Diablero (Mexican urban fantasy show dealing with demons and demon hunters, 2 seasons), the Witcher, Umbrella Academy, Unsolved Mysteries, Little Witch Academia (cute anime about witches), the Great British Baking Show, and Grand Designs, to name a few.

I don’t really watch amazon prime, but I really enjoyed all the shows I named. I also watch a lot of k-dramas on Netflix, the most recent being the first two episodes of the School Nurse Files. It seems unique and interesting so far. Ultimately I’d recommend everything I listed. There’s tons more, but honestly too many to really list. Hope you find something to entertain you. Take care.

Suits on Amazon Prime is my favorite show on there.

Amazon Prime, and Hulu. Prime->> Bosch, and Jack Ryan.

I like the Dark Crystal series on Netflix.

The Boys is easily the best reason to watch Prime IMO.

Search for ExoSquad, a cartoon from the 90’s, on Prime.

It is, no kidding, a better show than most of the stuff on HBO, with more character depth and plot.

Netflix is starting to go down the toilet. Most of the amazon stuff are crap and run concurrently with hulu. Disney is all kids stuff which never change. I would to with hbo max for now. They have kids stuff, adult stuff, action horror, etc etc. and the wb library is prettty good.

Netflix is okay if you want to watch their original content but a lot of that is crap now.

Currently my husband and I are watching Man in the High Castle on Prime. We’ve been limiting ourselves to 2 episodes a night so we don’t binge it all in one day. It’s about how America would be if we lost WW2. It’s keeping us intrigued. Yellowstone is also a good one. The Boys is fun, same as Future Man on Hulu. If you want wholesomeness, and just an escape from mayhem, Anne with an E on Netflix is beautiful.

For Amazon: The Goes Wrong Show. The funniest show I have ever seen.

For Netflix: The IT Crowd
Also hella funny.

Oh gods, where do I start. Castlevania and The Dragon Prince are both very good. As is the (unfortunately canceled) Dark Crystal series. I also liked Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency, October Faction, Travelers, Lucifer, the various Fate anime series (though specifically Fate Zero and Fate Unlimited Blade Works, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood…

I’m sure there’s more that my tired brain can’t think of. That’s all on Netflix, btw. I dun have Prime.

Ahh, about the Dragon Prince though. It really is quite spectacular and a safe investment as it’s been renewed up through season 7, but the animation in the first season is very choppy. Stick with it. They clear that animation up in season 2 and onward.
