What do we want? High Elves!

Yes, she considers herself as such. Better she leads them and keeps the tensions down than try and change the status quo.

You honestly believe Calia is neutral because of the priest order hall? At the very least she is heavy Alliance leaning.

Oh and also was straight up murdered by Sylvanas.

Yes, and? Did she swear loyalty? Is she bound by contract? Being friendly to the Alliance doesn’t make them an Alliance character. She’s no character currently anyhow.

I don’t think so. I think the forsaken will see a split that has the more reasonable of the bunch join the alliance. Even if sylvanas is taken out of action I don’t think the more extreme and “evil” forsaken will go away. The fact is most of those of the forsaken military have twisted personalities likely for various reasons surrounding their undeath. The civilian portion is mostly the same as they were in life.

We’re not getting a Horde race and a second light allied race. We’re not getting humans 3.0 either.

this is blizzard. I don’t put it past them. It isn’t like they have been listening to the alliance about what allied races they want the entire time.

My god dude lol.

She was actively trying to reunite forsaken with their families in storm wind, then actively tried to helped them escape to Alliance lands, she’s at most a gateway for Alliance undead ARs and at the very least Alliance-leaning priest leader.

Maybe that’s more because Sylvanas is a genocidal idiot than her being an Alliance character? She’s a Lordaeron character above all.

For me its never been about the looks of them, I love the lore and story of the Alliance Quel’dorei that didn’t go with the Sin’dorei, they are there but were not allowed to have em even though they are integrated in Alliance Story/Lore.

Kinda hard not to do that when a bunch have come out and outright said that’s exactly what they were doing.

Also stop pretending it’s about disagreement, the Paladin and Death knight actively talk about wanting the discussion to end.

There’s a difference between adding things people might not like, and things that noone asked for. Void Elves were a compromise that some cant get over for instance.

Literally noone wanted or asked for alliance undead.

Ok?

The point was that I don’t think the movement goes to any nefarious place, not to start the whole lore/cosmetics argument again.

Guess it’s good Lordaeron is canon Alliance now, after she nuked her own city and bailed.

Perfect room for Calia to move in with Light undead who agree with her.

the same about kul tirans and lightforged.

Void elves are a compromise but the wrong compromise. Generally a compromise is supposed to be an agreement between both sides to get a little of what they both want. Well we got none of what we want. We don’t give a crap about the model. We care about their story and lore and we didn’t get that.

Personally I think it says a lot that they didn’t use alliance high elves to make void elves. Every single one is a former blood elf. Blizzard obviously is keeping high elves for something else.

Why would you hate Void Elves but then be alright with LF Undead? THey’re both equally terrible and came out of nowhere.

I mean, it belongs to nobody now. Hard to rule over a waste dump

They don’t even make sense when it comes to the Alliance. 30 sec animation and were allies now.

I begin to believe some people actually DO want there to be multiple helf threads constantly opening.

Cannot think of another reason why they insist on flagging the Megathread :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Except there has been no story with the High Elves in the Alliance after the Third War.
