Demons didn’t make him smarter and he was crafty even before he turned to the Legion.
No, he wasn’t. Being strong and hot-headed doesn’t make you stupid.
Are you 5? I mean, who thinks losing a fight to a stronger opponent makes you stupid?

Look at real mages for a second ya those orcs are stupid compared to the true mages
Kel’thuzard Jaina, Medive, Lady vashji, Princeof the blood elf’s and compare them…
Ya those orcs are stupid in mage levels they are below 0 lol
I can think of a few other things below 0 right now.
going to disagree, in the greater Lore, Illidan was a huge supporter of Elf mages, and he supported the Blood Elves, in TBC there were several Belf Demon Hunters.
Now the Race Class combo that is illogical, is the lack of Tauren and Draenei Rogues.
Specifically, I don’t think the Base 5 Classes should be limited.
Mage, Preist, Warrior, Rogue, Hunter.
Superficially WOW is based on D&D (there was even an official RPG book published using D&D rules for Warcraft.) As such the base classes of Fighter, Priest, Rogue, and Ranger should be open to all.
Additionally, there are classes that were Hero Classes in the RTS which should be open to all races, as they are basically upgrades to the base 5 classes.
Warlock (Demon Mage), Paladin (Fighter-priest), Shaman (Elemental Mage), Monk (Fighter/Priest/Rogue)
Only Druid, Death Knights, and Demon Hunters should be limited, and well for Shadowlands Death Knights for all. In old WOW Lore, Deathknights were Undead Orcs who possessed the bodies of dead Humans. So I kind of wished they kept the old lore on them. But why not give everyone undead skeletal knights… oh wait they aren’t Skeletons under the armor anymore either.
So yeah, honestly it’s what we don’t have which seems weird, not what we have.
We have not yet figured out the secret to hoof-muzzling technology.
That cloppity clop will give away a rogue every time!
My only issue with this, is they should have updated Worgen Shapeshifts to all be wolf themed, much like Zandalari and Kul Tiran Druids.
Dark iron dwarf paladins.
I mean, the whole appeal of the race is that most of them are some mean violent bastards. DID should be rogues, warlocks and bloodthirsty warriors and mages in my opinion, not some goody goody paladin. We have humans and draenei for that.
Yet we have Tauren and Dreanei Rogues all over Lore, and have had them forever. In fact there is a whole dam tribe of Warlock and Rogue Tauren. Plus one of the few interesting side Characters on the Alliance is a Dreanei Rogue with First Aid.
And don’t get me on Dreanor Dreanie (aka Broken & Lost) when we first saw them in lore WC3, they were all Rogues.
And those Tauren rogues die easily!
Not a great supporting stat!
(Take everything I am saying here as a joke, just having fun)
Take everything I said serious, because it’s actually rather annoying that after all these years Blizzard still hasn’t opened Rogues to all. And the Hoof Joke is as old as WOW, and is not funny anymore.
I laughed, and they say if you can just reach 1 person…
At this point… they all sort of make sense. But the only one that kind of breaks my brain a little is: Nightborne Hunters. They were in a bubble for 10k years with no animals except a small zoo. What does that have to do with how hunters are portrayed in game?
I also know they had to give them hunters as every race has them.
Honestly Paladins should be open to all races that have priests and warriors. Just because you worship a Dark Deity doesn’t mean you can’t be a paladin. In fact in 5th Ed D&D LG is not an enforced rule on Paladins anymore.
I guess Blizzard thinks all elves should be able to wield a bow…
It would be awesome if they could be dark paladins but sadly they are still light wielders.
All Elves can be Rangers. Just because the Class is called Hunter doesn’t mean Elf Hunters are actually Hunters, they are Rangers. Just like Tauren Paladins are not actually Paladins but Sunwalkers.
Look in conclusion it doesnt make sense in fantasy Dnd being the origin of most fantasy outside of LoR it should stayed true 2 its origins.
elf dks do make sense in fantasy as many fallen elf’s exist be it drow or many other corrupted elf kin…
But orc mages and goblin shamans will always make 0 sense in fantasy…
also the day they add undead elf options 2 the forsaken like should have had since day 1 along with undead dwarf and orc options is the day dk will go on undead…
But wow has this nonsense that londeron only had humans and the forsaken are human only is totally incorrect for a long list of reasons
Orc mages are like twilight vampires
Kul Tiran Druids. The thought of a human race (yes, the KT are human) being Druids rubs me the wrong way.
I feel like Blizzard gave Kul Tiran’s Druid because the Alliance had a whinge over the Z-Trolls and their unique forms.
I disagree. WoW is not DND. WoW is not LotR. It has its own story.
Yet plenty of fantasy has goblin shaman.
Meet the goblin shaman from Warhammer.
You talk about stay true to its origins, yet Warhammer was a HUUUUUGGEE inspiration for WoW. Blizzard even originally had wanted to make a Warhammer game, but it didnt work out. They tried pretty hard to.
I’m okay with that because druidism isnt just threw hugging its witch craft as well and the religion of druids were cannibals so human druids are kinda real
