Title is pretty self explanatory. Of all the Class/Race combinations currently possible in-game, which one makes the least sense to you?
Mine is still probably the Blood Elf Demon Hunters, but I understand they had to make the class dual-faction.

Mine would be Goblin Shaman. Apparently its suppose to be some kind of business deal with the elements but why would the elements even be interested?
Worgen Druid and Tauren Paladin.
Worgen Druid 'cuz it feels like someone can’t decide what they are - I’m a human, then I’m a werewolf. Now I’m a bear. Wait… not like a dire wolf? Nope, a bear. Now I’m a cat! Wait, what?
Tauren Paladin 'cuz, I don’t know. I get the whole Sunwalker thing, but Blizz kind of just abandoned the whole backstory and you don’t really see them anymore. Aponi Brightmane was in the Paladin Order Hall, but she didn’t feel like a Sunwalker… more like just a tall Human Paladin with a fur coat on.
I want to say this now before it happens: LEAVE MY SUNWALKERS ALONE
Son of a –
I’m going to go out on a limb here and say Nightborne Warlock. My rationale is that they had a horrible Legion invasion that they fended off. Why would the Nightfallen allow Warlocks in their midst?
Tauren pally does seem odd. But I don’t know the lore or anything so perhaps I’m wrong. Just doesn’t fit to me.
Lightforged Shadowpriest
It’s not that I don’t like Tauren Paladins… it’s more that I’m frustrated that Blizz essentially abandoned them in the story and they just kind of get thrown in to stand behind the Human and Draenei as if they’re sayin’ - “Hey! We’re here too! Remember us?”
All joking aside, I hear ya. Blizzard cares so little that they have the Silver Hand banner hanging in Org when Shadowlands comes around.
Vulpera death knights. For one, it’s odd following around a tiny character in dungeons. You can hardly even see them once they pull a mob. Also given my very limited knowledge of dk lore, it doesn’t make sense since the vulpera hadn’t left vol’dun before joining the horde.
Vulpera Dk were not raised by Arthas, they were raised by Bolvar.
Where are those Dwarf mages? I know you’re out there.
This is one of the few that got addressed. The Allied Race Death knights are apparently taken care of in a newer starting area that shows Bolvar raising a new generation of Death knights.
EDIT: Why he would bother with the small races… I don’t know.
I read on the forums that this got fixed in a new Alpha build. The Silver Hand banners were replaced with Sunreaver banners. Still not a Sunwalker, but at least it’s a Horde banner.
Oh I missed that. GOOD. I was fine with a Blood Knight banner since they were the first but Sunreaver works too.
Started havin’ doubts since you mentioned the Blood Knights and had to double-check. I remembered wrong, it’s not the Sunreaver banner. They replaced it with the Silvermoon banner.

lightforged draenei death knight just bothers me
it seems like it just ruins the whole “lightforged” distinguishment between draenei
I’d say gnome preist, but i understand it came at a time when gnomes didn’t have any classes that could heal.
Gnomes, not being a very pious race, don’t really have a reason to be priests, and their in-game distinction is that they are combat medics.
That works too. I really didn’t care which Paladin order was represented as long as it was Horde.
The Silvermoon banner makes me scratch my head but whatevs, probably the best we’re gonna get.
The existance of goblin priests, esp Sister Goldskimmer, seems to indicate almost anyone could be a priest. Just have to have a belief in something?
