Orc mages,<orcs are dumb so really magic should be behond their reach. Shamanishm is more primal so that’s fine… Demon magic is as seen Demonic in nature which having old demon blood makes sense.

Goblin shamans–really pollutes the world but gets the elements help is so bs…

Being intelligent has never been a requirement to be a Mage since we’ve had orc, ogre, murloc and kobold Mages since Classic.

I think people try to apply old D&D rules to WoW which why they have a problem with race/class combos like tauren Paladins and orc Mages.

There’s no reason a Warrior race that’s noble and good plus had a god should not be a Paladin.

Simple non of those make sense outside of ogres their reason being warcraft 2.
Also ps the ogres with 2 heads are the only ones that can be mages for a reason.
And it should be a requirement on the class. A mage has to have alot of knowledge

But, those race/class combos have been NPCs in the game 16 years. They’re established. And where in WoW lore does it say a Mage must have high intelligence?

And WC2 doesn’t have Draenei or vulpera… should they not exist either?

There doesnt have to be more to explain it baka… it’s a fact of the class Mages are only for the extremely wise and knowledgeable… Jaina had 2 take years of learning for it
