What classes have mana problems in Wrath?

I want to go alchemy on whichever class has mana problems to get the most cost-effective uses out of Endless Mana Pot & Crazy Alchemist Potion.

So which class has mana problems/goes OOM in Wrath? If so, do they go OOM early in P1 or in a later phase?

Thanks guys!

Wasnt Wrath where they made WoW ezmode? Im not sure i remember any class having mana probs.

I think that was MOP where they gave casters practically infinite mana.
Lots of classes in wrath have raid-wide mana regen (spriest battery) in wrath though.

I’m guessing arcane mage

Think only arcane is only spec left with “mana” issues as far as I have read

Arcane mage is probably the only one left that still has mana issues, and even that is a stretch with evocation now on a 4m CD (down from 8 in crusade). Priest btw gets hymn of hope as a standard spell. It is no longer ransomed behind space goat. Wrath no longer has unique race spells for priest. It rips off the best ones, gives them to every priest, then junks the rest.

Arcane Mages and healers are the ones that retain mana issues. Warlocks have the same structure of unsustainable mana costs + Life Tap, so they fit this description for your purposes as well.

Prolly just arcane but if you’re going to be optimal you won’t be arcane anyway.

We get alot more ways to Regen mana in raid in wotlk, like replenishment.

its possible for each class to have mana problems. especially if you are the one pulling all the weight.

When I think about it. Wrath is a very different game…

other than 1 mage spec? no one really has mana issues

Cata on the other hand…healers are mana starved all the time

I’m very disappointed in the wording of this thread.

It’s nothing more than a straightforward question that reasonable people can answer without much in the way of anger or hyperbole.

This isn’t the quality of thread I’ve come to expect of you, Lemonade. :lemon:

Be better.

Can assume only Arcane Mages and idealy they only go arcane for the first phase.

Even healers don’t really have mana issues. I had one of each and I don’t recall ever really trying to save it. It’s certainly not like what you see in Vanilla or TBC.

Hands down, Warlock.

Is your guild full of people who suck at WoW, like dads or boomers? If so the boss kills will take a long time and there will be mana problems.

If your guild is somewhat competent at pressing keys on their keyboard, then dps should be high and things will die quickly, so you’ll be fine on pretty much any class or spec. Maybe arcane mage but still I doubt it.

Mages, Priests, and Shaman I think? As a lifelong warlock main mana has never been an issue in my gameplay, wotlk lock is even better because the Lifetap glyph gives us a spell power buff.

So if you’re older you suck, pretty ignorant statement. I’m surprised nobody has called you out on that statement.

I’m sorry you feel intimidated by your lack of experience. Rookie.

Very different game with a similar feel…

Unlike retail thats a wholly different game that’s so different that it should not even really be called World of WarCraft because it jumped the shark so long ago that it doesn’t even resemble the original game in any way. I cant think of a single thing in retail from a practical sense that is similar.
