Sounds like you just want to play a Paladin, so why aren’t you playing a Paladin right now?
You get 20% str from zerker stance not just 3% crit
Y’know, I didn’t notice that until I double checked the spec, shows how much I paid attention. Then again I only ever looked at the stance tooltip itself, but I logged on just to check, and good god that’s a huge difference.
How difficult would it be to get a warrior caught up in phase 2 pve/pvp gear starting now? Worth doing or nah?
The gear looks good on them…
They’re fun to play…
You just don’t get invited too much unless you’re somebody’s friend.
Way better classes to choose to fill the ranks.
Warrior has commanding shout. When u only have 1 pally in raid can provide battleshout. Can sunder when the raid doesnt have a rogue for expose armor.
It may not be the best utility but it is there.
A couple weeks if you have the gold. Plenty of craftables, BoEs, and emblem gear to get you up and running for relatively cheap. Biggest gear hurdle would be decent weapons.
Think of it as the opposite of classic where warriors made up 50% of the population.
Don’t bother bringing that up. Bladetsar just covers his ears and shouts “NOT LISTENING! LA LA LA LA LA!”
Ouch.

You get Blizzards gratitude for playing their game.
This is the problem with wildly buffing one class. I don’t know why you’d even want a warrior or rogue anymore. The inferior damage on paladin is what kept these classes relevant.
Ret got buffed from below the floor to the actual floor. 10% to a spec that was already at the bottom. That’s hardly a gamebreaking change.
You want to revert it so be it. I’d still play Ret. But its not going to make warriors or rogues any better.
I heard that “for fun” is a really great benefit.
what 2 heals enraged regeneration and what? bandages?
I am gonna steal this quote…and post it everywhere. That okay?
Being an absolute beast in PvP, and maybe getting priority on Shadowmourne come ICC.
as a fury warrior you would never use charge, if you’re spec’d fury you can’t use charge in combat, and it’s only useable in battle stance, so you probably mean intercept which does provide a slightly longer stun and is usable in combat. But i suspect their are few occasions where you want your fury warrior to back out to intercept range to land a 1.5 second stun
technically true but a pain for fury as thunderclap only can be used in battle stance, and defensive stance, and changing stances means dumping the majority of your rage, and no fury warrior is going to be spec’d into improved thunderclap more over frost DKs provide the same attack speed slow as improved thunderclap part of their normal rotation.
super helpful for all those bosses that are not immune to all movement impairing effects
Rend is a dot that is dps not utility…are you thinking of arms warriors who provide additional bleed damage when their bleeds are up, cause that’s not a fury thing.
As i was typing this out i was wondering if your post was meant to be entirely sarcasm, but you’re right warriors should be demo shouting and sundering.
OP is very emotional and appears to think that people are only capable of playing 1 class, throwing around the word paladin as an insult, it’s very cringe.
I play all 4 tanks because I enjoy tanking, out of my 4 tanks I find warrior the most enjoyable to play, my paladin is definitely easier with much lower APM. Yes, my paladin is generally more desired due to ardent defender and dsac, it doesn’t make my warrior a bad pick though. My warrior has better single target threat than my paladin, better true AOE threat (4 target cleave is not AOE), better mobility and provides sunders so the DPS warriors/rogues don’t have to worry.
My warrior has naturally higher health than my paladin, this somewhat makes up for the lack of ardent (not fully), I also spec/glyph for a 2min shield wall, this combined with 1min shield block + trinkets gives great algalon CD coverage.
Fury is just not good at the moment on single target, it’s got great trash/cleave though and is generally quite a durable DPS (30k+ hp). I don’t play fury much and when I do, I’m not really trying hard, I have other DPS classes that I enjoy more. I’ll put more effort into it towards ICC time though.
Every class has utility and if you’re struggling to make yourself useful in a raid then it’s a brain issue, not a class one. Likewise for any raid leads who are ideologically against warriors despite of gear/skill differences.
We just killed 10m Algalon without a Paladin tank. Had a Warrior and a DK tank.
I’ve no doubt Paladin tanks are better, but Warrior tanks are capable of doing it.
Wish we were recording the fight with logs, but I have the achievement on this character to prove it.
