What Are These Demon Girls From WC3R?

yeah, I am 99.99% sure those are succubus models. Just, as I had pointed out, WCIII:Reforged is nowhere near 1:1 with WoW.

Dang. I’d play moonkin a lot more if they looked like that.

WC3* I am going to assume. WoW itself departed from that model lol. Even the original one that was replaced mid-vanilla was rather different.

Almost makes me curious if there will be modders who work to “restore” the older models (I mean, keep the reforged quality, but make the models features like the old ones).

Uhhhhhhhh I’d finally learn how to properly play balance if they looked like this, HOLY JEEEZ!!!

They look so gosh darned dopey in the game!

Yes… WCIII:Reforged. That is what I said.

My point is that the models that the TC are trying to say are not succubi are indeed succubi and that WoW Models and WCIII:Reforged Models are not 1:1, that they are going to have differences which is why I used the Owlkin Model for example of this case.

You said WoW when it should of been WC3 (original) is all I meant.

They might just be random mobs around the demon areas, like in the Ashenvale campaign.

… No… I said exactly what I meant to say…

TC is saying the WCIII:Reforged models he posted are not Succubi because they don’t look like WoW Succubi…

I pointed out that the WCIII:Reforged models are not 1:1 accurate with the WoW models because he is comparing them to the WoW models…

I said exactly what I meant to say…

That is what the ENTIRE POINT of this thread is, TC is trying to say the succubi models her linked are not succubi because they don’t look like succubi to him.

Which is why, when you said–

I reiterated, once again for the thread as a whole, that–

Are you following now, Elaice?

Yes now I do, I thought the comparison was WC3 (original) and WC3 (reforged).

Yeah, no no XD I am sorry for the confusion.

It’s not a matter of looking like Succubi. It’s a matter of not having the right anatomy.

The moonkin model you keep linking has the Moonkin anatomy. Bear body, owl feathers, antlers, same amount of toes, same amount of fingers, etc.

They’re just more muscular and have longer sideburns. That’s an acceptable change. You can consider them both from the same species. Just like Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson and John Oliver are from the same species.

This WC3 “Succubus” has a different number and shape of wing fingers. Even if we ignore the horn differences and tail differences, the wing is too different to be the same thing.

Succubi have had a consistent look since WoW was released, I find it likely they are just using the WoW shape (wings from back, stands tall, etc.). WC3 Reforged has already shown they are not opposed to changing things up to fit continuity. The Culling of Stratholme map got an overhaul to resemble WoW’s Stratholme, is looks completely different then it did in WC3.

Not to mention there are 5 succubus creeps, seems fitting there are 5 new models, each slightly unique (as opposed to the WC3 ones where were just recolors).

They could be Saayad/Eredar half-breeds? Sent in with the initial Legion wave/invasion due to being seen as expendable mutations that could be thrown into the meat grinder of a first-wave assault.

If they’re trying to fit the WoW continuity, they should give the Succubus WoW Succubus wings.

I like this idea and I’m already writing the fanfiction in my brain lol

Further proof the devs hate warlocks and they can’t have nice things.

I wouldn’t say that… they may not be exact replications of the WoW Succubus, but they certainly aren’t bad.

Since succubi actually exist (Not in that way, but they are a mythological concept far before WC3) a bunch of different interpretations is the norm. These ones remind me more of the D3 ones, I think its the wing span.

if it was a murloc or something Blizz made very distinctive/their own IP and then suddenly they are way different you’d have more of a case, even though it would still be their own creation they can experiment with.

They’re definitely not bad at all.

I love these mutant succubi.

But as a Succubus enthusiast I feel like we should at least recognize that those are not normal Succubi.
