While I understand Mortis’ point, I’m inclined to agree with others in that I think this is just a re-telling of the succubus’ form from WC3. The whip, tattoos, etc - it’s all succubus in nature. While the horns and wings can be argued that they should belong to something else, there’s more evidence to suggest they’re sayaadi than anything else. Voluptuous figure, horns, proper tattoos, wings, hooves, whip, etc. They even have staple succubus attire.

It’s also worth remembering that not everything in WC3 is going to be 1:1. Not even the story. The story is being adjusted to account for current lore so it can give proper information. That’s why people threw a fit a couple of weeks ago when they learned Christie Golden would be adjusting the narrative.

And they have the same type of wings.

The eredar don’t have the leg tattoos I’m discussing. Succubi in WoW and those models you originally linked have very specific tattoos on their legs. That eredar doesn’t. And it is a staple of sayaadi culture to have those tattoos.

Edit: Eredar do not use whips, either. At least I can’t think of one that does.

Like the succubus creep’s new model. There were actually around 5 or so of them, with the level 10 one being the “Queen of Suffering”. Though in WC3 their wings were attached to their arms if I recall.

Yeah, it looks like their arms are their wings in the original WCIII, more in line with how harpies look.
