I logged into my character and played him for a bit. Its name is Herbigharo and the place is rather deserted. Did this realm close? If so, can I receive a complimentary character transfer off Westfall to another classic Cata server of my choice?
if the realm was closed, you wouldn’t be able to log into it

FCM’s are usually opened by development, CS has really no say in this, nor can provide them.
Usually it’s to specific realms, not really by player choice, and can be opened and closed rather quickly.
Usually they are posted about on the subform for the specific game, or on the support site.
I am not currently showing any FCM’s from Westfall.

A bit late but Westfall (Cata Classic) is one of the many realms that are being shut down. You can transfer to Atiesh, Pagle or Mankrik for free.
*Edit: Make sure you are doing it from the character select screen. It should be the first option under Services in the shop.

yeah westfall included pagle mankirk and atiesh are destinations had to scroll down but westfall there.
