Addons to look at /replicate (a wish list)
Questie - a 1.12 quest helping addon

Elvui - probably already in production, full ui overlay bars /unit frames

Tidy plates - because Elvui name plates suck

Raven - buff / debuff bars

Postal - id wager one of the easier ones since we have a modern mailbox standard ui

Battle ground enemies (or targets) - didn’t exist in vanilla but damn is it a great addon a window displaying updating health bars for team / opposing team that tracks trinkets and diminishing returns… In retail it also tracked spec which almost Questie will be impossible.

Gladiator lossa - audible call outs on opponent used cds

Auctioneer / TSM… Kind of hoping tsm won’t work just because I loathe seeing it up.

Ark inventory - customizable one bag mod where you can make your own sub sections

Outfitter - the best gear swapping addon

KTM threat meter - aggro matters in OG

Recount - damage meters. already done, as per above

Atlas /atlas loot - map and browsing dungeon drops by boss

Enchantrix - shows what an item will DE too (part of auctioneer suite)

Informant - tool tip editor that covers a whole range of info… Mob health /type, HP range, xp value, #to kill before level… Also, on items, vendor value

AddOns I personally was going to try my hand at, but have very little idea where to begin as addon creation guides are mostly horribly out of date or all cover writing a hello world command and nothing else

Warlock soul shard manager… Gives you a ui shard count and Let’s you set a number of desired shards and delete excess (primarily a leveling tool for bag space while using improved drain soul talent, this part was possible via macro in vanilla)…

Shard addon that names shards after targets they where acquired from. Vanilla addon could only keep names for duration of session…

Replicate that functionality, then build off of it, if possible, by :
-making names save between sessions
-modify the combat log to insert consumed shard name… (Example shard named Bob used for shadow burn. Your shadow burn (Bob) hits target for xxxx.)

This is a bit trickier than it sounds due to licensing issues and the fact that (and correct me if I’m wrong) the Twitch/Curse client isn’t “beta aware” yet. Perhaps a really simple add-on manager for these beta add-ons is called for. I can make desktop apps. I’ll look into it. Don’t want to exclude anybody.

Just buy a gaming mouse and keybind your heals to that. If need be you can even create mouseover macros, but that’s not a necessity. An addon is not required to ease the burden on your hands.

trying to convince hubby to buy me one that is also ergonomic, so instead of laying flat on the mousepad, its upright like you’re handshaking with the mouse

Madame, I vow to you at this moment that I will ensure Clique is available at the very least. It’s my preferred click-binding add-on, so I need it. But you may also have it, too. <3

not accustomed to clique. is it like healbot? its not that i need anything automated, it just makes it easier to keybind your mouse buttons. i’m inept when it comes to macros and stuff

Mouse buttons show up in the standard kebinding section. Unless you’re trying to do something else?

i am not trying to do anything except have the add-on that made it so i didnt have to move the mouse very far. listen i also keyboard turn lol i’m 60 years old, slightly dain bramaged from a coma 20 years ago, so i have trouble with keybinds, macros, and so on. i just want plain ordinary healbot cause i’m accustomed to it. no learning curve. lol

that’s dumb given that in Vanilla there was one of the most powerful healing addons ever: Decursive.

There was other one as well that allowed you to instant heal by just clicking on the UI. No extra button click needed.

Can you confirm whether the focus Unit ID is completely removed, or whether they just removed the slash command and the unit frame?

Bagnon and Clique are the 2 I call minimum addons. They are low impact on the UI and give so much comfort.

The minimum I will play with.

oh i dont want to mousehover heal. click to heal the healbot tiles is fine. right click is one heal. left click is another heal. middle mouse button click is another heal and when i get the ergonomic mouse, perhaps will have a 4th and 5th mouse button.
