I’ve corrected a minor issue with the Recount download on GitHub and added some “getting started” instructions for folks.

Some type of addon to show casting bars on enemies, and durations of your dots on the target. Pretty sure this existed in Vanilla but can’t remember what they were called.

I liked using and still use Clique/Grid, I hope those are ported, they was around in vanilla if I recall.

Unfortunately the pfUI creator has already confirmed he does not plan on porting his UI to classic because it will require a complete re-write

You’d be surprised how much code base is shared between live and classic. being based off 8.0 you really only need to do work around talent ui, map/quest log, profession

and remove anything that doesn’t exist such as threat api, pet battles, arena, etc.

you can actually take many existing 8.0 addons. turn em on, and fix them up one lua error at a time til it’s working, and it’s mostly just removing stuff that doesn’t exist yet. I’m sure that recount port took less than an hour. I know porting skada on my local machine took me like 10 minutes, cause all I did was yanked out the stuff that doesn’t work in classic.

Ah come on guys, only thing keeping me from playing priest is not having healbot, don’t do it. Doooon’t do it.
