Do you not click with Ebonhorn/Ebyssian as a fatherly figure? I do. He’s level headed, soft-spoken and wise, and always putting his family before himself, whether it’s highmountain or his dragonflight.
If you’ve played a Shaman in Legion, and I guess earlier in Cataclysm in Thousand Needles, Magatha got her hands on an artifact called the “doomstone”.
Now I wonder if they are setting up threads to finally conclude that story, as Dragonflight as a whole is seemingly Cataclysm 2.0 (Deathwing is back, sorta).
It seems they have reached into the Cataclysm story bin and are finishing these unfinished conclusions, which is great.
Maybe they mean it in an attractive way because yeah I don’t see how anyone that goes crying to mommy (Alex) then yells at his mom when he doesn’t get his way is in any way “masculine.”
It’d be nice to have some explanation for the Primalists. They kinda popped up out of nowhere and haven’t really had any backstory for what their deal is or how they knew where to find and free Razsageth.
I dont think we will see Magatha aside from a side story this xpac. While she is a shaman I dont think she is quite at the crazy point that she would side with the primalists.
my theory is that it started out small, like some grimtotems doin there own thing, but eventually with the primal drakes were being released, the backlash of elements eventually done something too shamans or anyone intertwined with the elements.
which is why you see only 2-4 shamans in the isles, the non shaman races however could been a mixture of other things, like angry nelfs who still wanted revenge, or ex twilight cultist convinced to join, since Magatha was able to convince some of em to join the grimtotem before.
other than that, misfits of the world who think all the issues can be solved by dragons bein killed an proto-drakes runnin wild. that or bums thought the idea was cool too.
Saurfang perhaps in the AQ war. Guy cried his son died (after already being dead) AND THEN LEFT US in the middle of an attack on the lk citadel, freaking was terrified when Malfurion was reking his entire army in ashenvale? (Books), and then sided with… humans. And got 1 shot. Nazgrim should have been on the list though. At most he was a father figure to many characters.
Not to mention his son fought an entire raid group as a dk while suspending saurfang and like 8 others in the air… hmm perhaps his son should be an honorable mention.
