Wen summoning stones?

You will support rmt anytime you buy a summon.

It isn’t a straw man, it’s just a fact of the game.

You also support RMT anytime you buy something off the auction house. How about you ban the act of selling gold instead of everything surrounding it?

I agree.

Also why banning gdkps are dumb.

People will cheer but lfg and trade are filled with literal gold sellers spamming their websites.

You will see lock summoners spamming soon too

I also disagree with the GDKP ban. I don’t see how that has anything to do with adding summoning stones to the game.

I wanted a fresh version of classic, the one that came out in 2019. Not a fresh version of SOD.

Banning gdkps opened the door to lessen rmt.

Summoning stones are the same.

People just afk waiting for their lock summon anyway. I don’t care either way personally, but this idea that no summoning stones is good for keeping people out in the world is silly

Agreed. I would only contest the “how”. Forcing players into the world who do not want to be in the world is a recipe for lost subs. The better way is to create compelling content that entices players to want to play in the world.

I would also note, flying over the world on a flight path is not, “being out in the world”. Players out there questing is being “out in the world”.

Then what makes them “Anniversary Edition” servers? I guess you are saying you just wanted identical fresh start Era servers?

Lets be real though. Summoning stones would completely ruin the immersion of vanilla wow. Should there also be a soulwell and a drink table next to the summoning stone as well?

Anniversary FRESH has Dual Spec.
Season of Discovery has Dual Spec.

zipso reddit facto, ANNIVERSARY FRESH IS LITERALLY SEASON OF DISCOVERY

Dual spec needed to be in from level 10 and FREE. As if this game doesn’t have enough gold sinks… sad.

No, soulwells and tables should still be relegated to locks & mages respectively.

No. See how easy this sh!t test was to pass?

We got the LFD Tool. That doesn’t mean RDF is coming.

You are absolutely wrong when you say that. You ARE playing the game. When you are traveling, whether by flying on a wyvern or on a boat then you are playing the game, and even if you are standing in the city you are playing the game.

I am sick of people treating WoW as if its a hack and slash game where that you always have to be doing something or achieving something to be playing the game. True classic MMOs are all about existing in the world. If you don’t agree with that then might as well play a diablo game.

Again, traveling is not just playing the game, its a fundamental concept of the game.

The problem with that, is when Blizzard does honor your demands, then its detrimental to MY experience. I prefer to travel with my group to go to an instance and meet them in the closet town.

They ARE classic WoW. You just don’t want them to be classic WoW. In your mind classic WoW needs to be limited to the era servers. Just because they made some changes doesn’t mean they will add in QoL game changing mechanics that compromise what made vanilla great.

This is why I hated the idea of dual spec, not because of the idea itself, but entitled players who have no business in classic such as yourself look at this as an opportunity to make more irrational demands.

RDF is totally on the table with some of the stuff I’ve already seen green lighted. Filling and maintaining a 40 man raid is quite difficult.

yes :expressionless: rebel camps don’t have flight paths

lol cry more :expressionless: sensible changes won. no respeccing anywhere you want either

Classic raiding shouldn’t be for everyone. The whole idea of a raid is for 40 people to work together as a single powerful unit. Not everyone in vanilla was raiding and people were fine with it.

Rebel Camp flightpath now == LITERALLY RETAIL

Rebel Camp flightpath at TBC pre-patch == ???

this :expressionless: sometimes i just sit in a city or town for hours, doing nothing
