Welcome to The Great Push!

For the love of all things good… STOP. WOW is not an ESPORT!

stop esporting what is supposed to be an mmorpg. Bring the game back to it’s roots! Get rid of M+!

lol. SO oblivious.

It isn’t. It barely ever drops, and when it does it’s usually lower ilvl than you get for failing a 10 key.

M+ is infinitely spammable with no lockout, can be upgraded with Valour and rewards you for failure with higher ilvl items than the content you failed. M+ is also far easier for the equivalent raiding ilvl - and again, even if you fail you get bonus welfare loot from the GV, not to mention the 2 items at the end of the run.

I just don’t think, that you thought this through before promoting this.

Great feedback Blizz , as your game slowly sinks beneath The surface , and yet your still yapping about all the un fun stuff we never wanted .

AGREED!

Blizz:
Stop trying to force a square peg into a circle hole… WoW is not an ESport game. I’ve seen some of those videos and it is a complete JOKE. Like watching WWE, so fake. Very boring how a normally 15s arena battle gets stretched out to 20minutes of folks peppering each other while they hop around. You’re just ruining WoW for your player base. If you need a WoW related ESport, set up a different game entirely like you did with classic, WoW Tournament.

Also, fix your bugs first. Actual ESports games aren’t dumpster fires.

Yes. I’m a hunter, so…

Not really. A lot of the industry experts have been saying the e-sport bubble is about to burst. Companies have sunk vast sums of money into this concept with very little in return. Competitive video game events were always their best when they are a grass roots event started and run by the community.

Why no SoloQ for pvp though? The only thing you’ve done for pvp lately is to fix bugs in game modes that are not arena.

Only has 19 upvotes… I guess that goes to show you nobody on these forums but 19 people thought this was a good idea.

Do we all get 226 gear like in the MDI?

Or are the mythic raiders and pvpers with ilvl 233 weapons going to have advantage in mythic plus just like the real game?

Maybe you guys could… Push your development priorities so we don’t have to wait until July or August for some actual bloody content in our subscription-based live game.

Who asked for this?

The only competitive events that are popular are those that come from the players themselves (ie: Races to World-First) not those that are manufactured by Blizzard.

I bet that even Asmongold’s transmog contests might draw more attention than this.

Make WoW a proper MMORPG and leave it to the players to decide what is worth being competitive over. Not the inverse.

Think the only people who care about this are influencers, aka streamers.

I already took part in The Great Push this morning on the terlet.

I did that a little while ago, perhaps blizzard needs to try a magnesium supplement.

It’s more than just the prize pool. There is the money spent on advertising for MDI. There is setting up the locations. There is making a boatload of arrangements. For Each and Every Tournament. All those resources could be better funneled into improving the Quality of the Game.

Yeah, and every game I see turn into an esport devolves into this stagnant product where the company is afraid to touch anything otherwise they might break the game and kill their cash cow. We will see metas concreting, the same dungeon or two (often just one that everyone will agree is the fair one), etc. It would be awful for the rest of us.

I’d probably be more excited about this if I weren’t clearing the same content every week. WTB content, not esports for an MMO.

Look at the quality of the SL dungeons. One of them is practically a straight route from start to finish. Almost like it was built for them to showcase a group fighting through the dungeon without distractions of side passages or backtracking. Which you know would be boring for an audience to watch.
