Welcome to The Great Push!

Now, I don’t mind that dungeon. It’s straight forward, save for one boss that annoys me.

But, there’s still a part of me that wonders if it was designed that way just for being able to showcase a straight forward non-stop action oriented event to an audience.

I’m excited for this!

This whole thing reminds me ive not had an IBS flare up…now that requires a great push.

Wakka wakka I’ll be here all night ty ty.

Maybe you should look up the current charity before you sprout crap like this?

Aren’t you embarrassed to like Enrico’s comment even though it’s completely false?

Why do this when you have OW? Seriously, just focus on the next patch, not many care about this junk. Blizz is so disconnected with their playerbase for WoW, it’s sad. This is a MMORPG, stop trying to make it E-sports.

Yikes. Not even a little embarrassed? You’re okay with lies getting spread?

Okay Karen. My like doesn’t spread lies. This isn’t Twitter or Facebook.

I had my reasons for liking it so take your bullying elsewhere.

But literally every word in the post was wrong. Unless the poster was your alt I can’t imagine another reason why you would.

I also posted this onto another thread titles “esports have ruined the game” but I feel it also fits here so I am putting it here also.

WoW began and FLOURISHED as an mmoRPG…a “roleplaying game” meant for many users to get together to play their characters how they saw fit, for what content they saw fit.

The game and classes were balanced as needed and they had unique benefits and drawbacks.

NOW…the game is a shell of what it once was, not just in playability and fun, but also in estimated sub count(estimated because we cannot tell anymore other than anecdotal who we see in the world).

The fun was taken away, the “sandbox” was taken away…we are left with a themepark game on a rail from A to B and the game is now balanced around the “competitve content” and how it affects that instead of how changes just affect the classes themselves and betters them.

It needs to get back to it’s roots…what made it great. An mmo is not an esport

This is rich comming from someone with a level 50 toon. If you’re not into Mythic+ content, why care about it? The people who enjoy pushing high keys actually like this new addition to the game. Blizzard got feedback from the mundane nature of the MDI, how it didn’t fit into the reality of the game, they decided to pivot a new idea and this is what you guys who don’t even push keys come up with? Honestly pathetic.

Again, same issue with a lot of other comments here. Are you guys who don’t even play the game anymore comment here just to trash the game? This is a great response to the MDI format, it fits perfectly to the real scenario that is Mythic+ pushing. Do any of you even know what pushing keys is? This new format isn’t attempting to “turn the game into an e-sport”, it’s a great response from the feedback that players who ACTUALLY play Mythic+ gave about the MDI. Everything in this comment section is so cringe.

I’m called Ion in one thread because I love the game, and then this guy accuses me of just mindlessly trashing the game in this thread. God I love GD. Lol

I’m personally really excited for this! I’m looking forward to it more than MDI and really do hope to see more fun things like this.

I can’t believe the number of people in here complaining. Sure M+ and the game is in a bad state - nobody disagrees there. For those of us still hanging on and trying to push some challenging content - it’s welcome! I’m sure the vast majority of players don’t care about this, but me and many others love seeing things minmaxed and pushed to the extremes.

The comps I see represented in these extremely high keys does not affect what I’m going to invite to a +15 key. The people with 500 rio blaming these events for not getting invited to +15 groups need to take some responsibility, work their way up, and get better. Any off-meta group can push well into the +20s no problem. Most people invite the player, not the class. This kind of event will only affect the decisions of the very top 1% of players that are pushing content of this level. This is coming from someone playing an off-meta spec at the moment as well.

Anyone who thinks a $20k prize pool/hosting budget is somehow going to affect the quality and speed of future content releases has absolutely no clue what they’re talking about. It doesn’t even register to them as an amount of money. There is little to no “marketing budget” for this or MDI, and they keep some of their more die-hard players entertained. Game development at this scale is a wild beast where throwing more money at it doesn’t always solve problems.

If anything, this will showcase overpowered M+ classes in high keys and things might become better balanced around it. I am not happy with where the game is right now, and I’m sure most of the “influencers” or “MVPs” wouldn’t disagree. Adding a selective AoE cap was the worst thing they’ve ever done to the game - even worse than GCD - and I still have misplaced hope they’ll remove it one of these patches.

I probably shouldn’t have bothered responding, but seeing like 1000 ultra casual players screeching that this is in any way affecting them is too much for my little heart to handle.

This isn’t league stop turning it into league. /insert meme stop get some help on repeat

Bro. It’s an optional thing you can sign up for and it’s obviously for the pro MDI players that are around 3k io right now.

Let them have their fun how does this effect your gameplay experience LITERALLY at all??

Clowns watch this nonsense and the expectations trickle down to every level of SL dungeon. I even see people in normal dungeons trying to mimic their favorite esports tactics, using weird skips and routes. Demanding ridiculous io scores for low keys. Wanting MDI comps for their +5 dungeon.
