Weekly Realm Status Report

With a blue post stating the free realm transfer list would be updated two days ago. I have decided to make this thread and post on it weekly until that happens. Show exactly what is happening to the realms that are low pop to the general populace that read these forums and don’t go looking for that information. What is low pop? For the purpose of this thread, it will be any realm under two thousand trackable characters as that is the best metric I can go with. I do have my bias to Thunderfury so that will be at the top.

2000 is low population? Original TBC realm pops must have been what they call super dead.

Anyway, where are you even getting any of this information?

For the original realms, it wouldn’t have been. Simply because the players had a different mindset and played differently. I believe low pop back then was like 500-1k.

As for where I’m getting the info. Ironforge.pro tracks people who have logged raid data or have done arena that week. That is why I say “trackable” characters instead of something like players.

im alive if i was dead i couldnt b typing on forums

Look around you Jimmy life is gone. You might be the only one to remain.

you forgot earthfury.

All these realms need free transfers to the mediums like mine. The high/full ones need to be removed from the list. I don’t know why this is so complicated for Blizzard.

In addition to the 113 characters that left Netherwind this week, an additional two raids will be leaving at the end of the week, and at least one more is planning to hold out for one more week to see if anything happens with the FCM list before paying.

what a shame

I did not. Earthfury has 2016 recorded characters so it wouldn’t go on the list yet.

you should see the actual server tho. horde side has so few guilds actually doing anything or recruiting.

That doesn’t change the fact that the realm still has over 2k logged raider and arena players.

that doesn’t change the fact that the servers dead.

spittin facts.

The big problem is that there are more guilds set to leave this week or next. They wanted to show their raid progression on WCL or something.

I loved Earthfury and I have many posts about that, but at this point, it’s mostly about the memories. :frowning:

With that being said I understand why Jirukon did not include the Earthfury in that list based on the numbers and also based on it still showing Medium pop on the list.

The threshold was set at 2k. It doesn’t matter if a realm feels dead or if it is 2001 recorded characters. If it doesn’t meet the threshold it won’t be added. You are welcome to make your own thread with different criteria. If I make exceptions for Earthfury I have to make exceptions for everyone. Then all of this is pointless.

If this is true. Then Earthfury will be on the list next week. Like Azuresong just made the cut this week. Had I made this thread last week Azuresong wouldn’t be on the list here.
