Let’s be real, that person probably doesn’t have 25man gear because they either don’t have a max level toon or think 10mans should be equivalent to 25mans. No one is dragging that person through 25mans for free.
Your proclivity for straw man arguments and goal post moving, as well as self narrative changes between having and not having this incredibly easy but yet not easy to have at the same time social circle. Don’t be upset I beat you to the punch. I was saving us both some time.
Their social connections just means they created a leveling guild and invited everyone that was unguilded. No end game guild has a huge plethora of leveling toons that would qualify as “removing the need for rdf”. This person would probably be better served going and joining the classic ironman communities instead of pushing their anti-rdf wants on the wotlk playerbase.
Making social connections takes time and effort. I never said you get it instantly.
It took 3 years of actively making my socual connections to have what i have. You chosing to out no effort into doing something similar doesnt mean the game needs to be changed to fit your anti social playstyle.
I chose to play a game that was originally queue based. People like you crying are why it’s not once again the game I preferred. I am still enjoying the game by other metrics, they are just missing the mark on RDF and it’s fine to make it known that they are doing their current players a disservice in one aspect of their game.
I claimed building social connections can make there be no need for rdf. I never said those social connections followed you to any realm in an instant and took no work to make them. Thats your strawman.
If I wanted to work when I got off work I would just go back to work. So you have this “thing “ and you don’t want others to have it because they didn’t “work” for it? What a nasty anti-WoW take. I would love for all consumers of the game to at least be able to participate and try the aspects of the game they want to try.
You sound like my boomer grandpa “they didn’t work for it!” That is the whole point of progress and qol systems. Ease of access and better player engagement. You must just hate people.
I wasnt aware wow was queue based for pve from vanilla, tbc, or the the first 3 out of 4 major content patches of wotlk. Must have missed that when i was playing back then. Oh wait.
Until ICC is out the wotlkc is more authentic to not have rdf. Once icc is out, you have an argument of it being more authentic to have rdf. And no, other unauthentic changes do not justify making more changes.
