If WOD dropped so many subs why did it have the best glad mounts?
Checkmate.

Game was shiny and new then and the story was leading towards fighting the penultimate bad guy of the time. Everyone was stoked to fight Arthas. That was cool. Now weāre fighting the Shadow Priest Legion Artifact that inhabited a Barbie.
I know people hate the Gronn but I actually like them lol
Anyways bring back SL rating locked gear and honor grind requirements
The wow player yearns for the grind
Theyāre literally the best mount.
Only thing that could top them would be an armoured worm.
Imagine the worms from BfA but with high res armour and glowy stuff?
Honestly wouldnāt be bad.
Armoured gāhuun in the most disturbing colours imaginable.
best mount by a mile.
#neverdisrespectthegronn
If they made it work with PvE ilvl too, I think it would bring in a lot of people from the raiding scene like it did SL S1.
Would solve some of the āwaaaah inflationā issues too.
Ya giving people full pvp bis in like one day of play has been kind of detrimental as most people really do just wanna log on and fill a bar or make a number go up
We had a couple items locked. Not all of it. Also as I pointed out elsewhere. I donāt think any of that had anything to do with rating locked gear. I actually think it was an MMO at that time.
Oh 100%. I agree with you here. It didnāt bother me. However despite me telling guildies it didnāt matter it did matter to them. PvE was insanely easy to get higher ilvl gear than PvP. So people started pveing instead of pvping. And those that didnāt like PvE quit.
Legion killed a guild I had been in for 3 expansions. Two with massive content luls.
PvE absolutely did as they abandoned it. No denying this. DESPITE this PvP still had decent numbers. Someone else posted that 3v3 had more people than our current solo shuffle.
Youāre completely missing the point of basically everything Iām saying
No we didnāt?
As I said, my anecdotal experience.
Still didnāt venruiki have a mega thread on the forums in legion because PvP was in such a bad state? Specifically in regards to PvP gearing. So I think we did. You and I didnāt, but pvpers did.
Not because of gear lol
Balancing was abysmal
Does anybody remember anything
Am I losing my mind
I feel like people simply remember a period as good or bad and make any feeble attempt to make up nonsense to support this
hey guys remember legion when everybody needed to be high rated to have any gear like what
Iām pretty sure he specifically talks about gearing. How 2100 was way harder to get than doing PvE for gear.
Kinda also contradicts what kenni is saying about getting bis and quitting too now that I think about it
I do. Pretty well actually. Unfortunately the venruiki thread was on the old forums? Iāll look and see.
It wasnāt until legion introduced rating locked gear that people quit

We literally just spam qed. and got gear.
If WOD dropped so many subs why did it have the best glad mounts?
Actually true and real btw
Sadly I could not find the venruki thread. It was indeed on the old forums.
Legit mega thread saying how unrewarding PvP was in legion and how many people had quit. Hopefully someone else also remembers.

Absolutely terrible gear compared to PvE gear as it all scaled off ilvl. Again scaling made it irrelevant but casual pvpers arenāt smart.
Again. You and I didnāt quit, but lots of pvpers did

No one cares about PVE when weāre PVPing. PVE gear had no impact on PVP and vice versa
