We need Void Elf paladins. Makes no sense not to have them

They cant even fix evergreen systems from the previous devs…

Players can ask but I would hope game integrity matters more to the devs than the wishy washy desires of a few players.

I agree with you, also with some of my previous comments on the matter reflected in other posts and here, as close as they can, with honest non biased approach, which lore allows, simple dismissal on requests or to mock people asking was never a good approach which had happened in the past. (imho)

The existence of High Elf paladins in the Argent Tournament and Silver Covenant would imply that High Elves definitely took to being Paladins at times. By the time we saw them less than 30 years had passed; not much time for an Elf that lives thousands of years to suddenly have a change of heart in profession.

The group “Blood Knights” was created in year 25 by Liadrin (formerly a priest before her faith failed her), but that doesn’t strictly mean that they had never had any Paladins whatsoever. In fact they couldn’t even be Warriors at first, because all the Warriors were dead. It could be easily implied that what few Paladins they had also died, and the Blood Knights were starting completely fresh but that they still had awareness of how a Paladin operates.

Which is to say that there’s a little evidence of High Elf Paladins, and nothing directly says there were no High Elf Paladins before they became Blood Elves. All we know is that the organization known as the Blood Knights was formed in response to M’uru being an available source of power and generally all their Warriors having died off.

Void elf paladins will bring balance to the factions.

THIS GAME NEEDS THIS!

Because you’re not a Helf. You’re a Velf.

We NEED troll beards

Makes no sense not to have them out art always has troll beards and our leader voljin had it too

CMON what’s the point of playing a troll if you can’t have a beard, or Amani skin options, or big boi Amani body type, or blue zandalari tattoos, or zandalari golden eyes

Because you aren’t high elves.

It is weird that Trolls have moss-like micro hairs all over them canonically and yet do not have facial hair… especially since Night Elves can apparently grow wizard beards.

I think we can get void elf paladins.

yeah high elves were battlemages and farstriders.

I can see it now…Light Forged Void Elves! with wings of light and music that follows them everywheres!!!

If I was a Dev, I would allow people to create the Void Elf Paladin…and as soon as they log in theres an explosion on screen followed by a message that “Your mixture of Void and Light has resulted in an explosion” and then ships you back to the character select screen.

I know this wouldn’t actually happen, but it would be amusing.

I’m gonna push back against you solely because you maliciously excluded the best alliance paladin race. Dwarves are Kings. We don’t need more paladins when we have dwarf paladins.

We should have Dwarf Druids through the Wildhammers. I’ve heard Malfurion is against it because he’d actually have competition for Moonglade’s, ‘Most Majestic Beard,’ annual competition.

You can be a dwarf, which is actually one of the best overall options IMO. This character started life as a dwarf before a faction change because this was my second dwarf paladin.

I get folks want a High Elf paladin, I’m not unsympathetic.

But the actual playable race is Void Elf of course.

Would a Blood Knight of Silvermoon have dallied with Magister Umbric and his followers?

Knowing the ‘velves’ got their ‘spooky mojo’ from Darkhan Drathir, the “Gaius Baltar of Quel’thalas”?

I’ve been against it, but maybe there’s a way, thinking on it…

Hero classes like Death Knight and Demon Hunter show the way:

  • Add paladins for Void Elves…

  • …then use the ‘hero class’ method of limiting certain customizations to certain classes…

  • …limit the “Void” elf paladins to using High Elf customizations – no voidy tendrils, spooky skin tones, etc.

That way, people could have their High Elf paladin, who in terms of game mechanics is a void elf, but aesthetically is a High Elf.

This would mean the WoW team bending over backwards to accommodate a very specific class fantasy, and it’s not an elegant solution, but it may be technically possible.

Whether they’d do that is another matter.

Maybe a former Blood Knight which preferred the old method of taking and dominating the Light, but certainly not Liadrin’s psuedo-human Paladins.

This doesn’t seem to have been a widely known thing. Even Umbric only discovered Dar’khan had been studying the Void well after Rommath had kicked him and his followers out.

Arator.

Half elves needs to be playable as it’s own race.

I would like to state good job to people talking about how void elf paladins can never be a thing and doing a good job on explaining why.

Very big good job to Theo on this too.
