We need m+ automatic queue

No we don’t.

Learn to use lfg.

It won’t happen because it shouldn’t happen. Anyone advocating for this doesn’t have a clue about what happened with Cata dungeons.

All the people saying people would leave. I don’t see any people leave my keys unless it’s a failed time and I’m okay with it. However, there is no reason they couldn’t implement m0. Someone leaves, let the system replace them, just like normals and heroics. M+ wont work though and I’m lost as to why anyone would want this besides laziness.

I don’t really care about leavers in the first place, so I wouldn’t care if they left LFD keys either. just saying a random queue isn’t going to stop that from happening.

What for? Not too bad finding groups atm–unless you’re trying to push past 20 or something. I don’t think groupfinder would be good for that sitation anyway…

The major difference that no one is acknowledging, probably willfully, is that you can easily put a ranking or barrier to entry onto any sort of mythic+ queue.

With Cata, people didn’t have a choice, anyone could queue with anyone, it’s a really easy fix.

I known how to use LFG. You brought so much to this thread!

What barrier can’t be bought that they could put in place? Until the system begins to recognize which runs granted rating to a player where that player participated in a meaningful way (i.e. wasn’t carried) to gain the ranking that lets them subvert the barrier, what would be the point of such a barrier?

Mythic+ score plus dps/hps thresholds. Addons already do this.

They did that in MOP and people complained because they couldn’t participate.

End game content should never have a Que.

And Cata dungeons weren’t hard. Compared to mythic plus which scales in difficulty.

The people struggling to time 15s aren’t going to magically start timing 15s.

good players also won’t touch it with a 10 foot pole. It’s a terrible idea no matter how you slice it.

Then why are you suggesting terrible ideas? It isn’t Sunday.

They were, most groups couldn’t get past the first few packs. I remember it vividly lol. Again, that’s the problem with not having some sort of ranking system.

And yet so many other games do it. LoL, Dota, Warcraft, etc…

They weren’t hard. People were just bad. I played heavily in Cata. Cata dungeons were by far easier than current mythic plus.

Those other games aren’t WoW.

The whole point of asking for a queue system is to force people to carry you, though.

I mean… that’s what this is all about.

You forgot the part where all dungeons will be nerfed into oblivion bc people scream they can’t complete them and all queued content must be tuned to the lowest common denominator.

That’s a crazy statement, I came out of WoTLK doing heroic 25+ with realm top 10 guilds and we were struggling because people hadn’t used CC in so long. You must have had a stellar group.

I understand, I’m drawing a reasonable parallels between similiar matchmaking styles.

Honestly, it’s not a hill I’m going to die on, I’m not the OP, I think at lower level keys it’s not a bad idea.

100% this. Just imagine their tears about people leaving terrible groups.

I joined a pug HoI 19 as I needed to farm fragment on my mage.

19 deaths on the first pull. I noped out of there real fast.

The difference with pvp games is you can filter both sides by rating. And wow also does this with pvp, try to match similar rating groups with similar rating opponents.

What’s the equivalent for keys, only let low score players queue into low keys so they don’t hit a wall?

A sophisticated system wouldn’t match a 2.5 rated player with a 800 one though, that’s what I was understanding the OP to mean anyways.

I would assume there is enough players to do it by mythic+ score, not a perfect system I’m sure, but definitely viable.
