The problem with this is that at the start of an expansion, queued M0 would be a bloodbath.
I do M0’s the first week of every expansion, and they’re rough. Even for organized CE groups, they’re rough.
Making that queueable would be a slaughter.
Problem: If we make M0 queueable now, when it’s faceroll, but then take it away from people at the start of the next expansion… that won’t be pretty.
I do, and I was pointing out that Brewa’s statement
was incorrect.
People would still leave keys in a random queue.
no, he’s right. he used the present tense. he’s talking about that content today, not how it was temporarily more than a decade ago.

They could add it to LFG list later into the expansion. I don’t care if they implement it or not. I have no problem with the way we’re doing it now. I’m just spit-balling, definitely don’t care enough to advocate for it.
I can just imagine the DPS queue times, lol.

So was there a time outside of cata, when normals and heroics weren’t faceroll?
It’s downright impressive how many people saw the list the OP offered for counter reasons to their suggestion, and took it as the OP’s own methods for keys instead.
To uh… stay on topic, I guess I’ll have to say no thanks. Devs would have to restrict so many things to prevent abuse, because the first thing players will do is spend week 1 finding every loophole possible and exploiting it.
Sure and we need some for of punishment for this. I don’t get why blizzard let me enter 10 keys straight and troll without any form of restriction.
Dota has a system where you can leave sometimes, but if you do too much you’re queue only with leavers and need to win 3 games. Maybe we can do the same and require 3 timed dgs?

i don’t think either brewa or i said that
Group composition is more important in M+ at higher keys than it is in other forms of content. If your group composition isn’t good, it will be more difficult or perhaps even impossible.
The only way this happens is if blizz adds a twitch channel you can swap through groups, make it require a sub.
Blizz gets 5$ from me and i get endless enjoyment watching salt and tears.

I’m asking you directly, was there a time outside Cata that normals and heroics weren’t a complete faceroll? Without dancing around it, the answer is no.
I mean LFD has the deserter debuff and people still left failing cata heroics all the time.
I agree we could use mythic one queues. I refuse to call it mythic 0

i agree with you. not sure what your point is
it would work, it would just take blizzard effort to design and make useable which means it prolly wont happen. require a score to queue, increasing the requirement for each level. it would be entirely optional, people who want to premade would have that option. people who want to matchmake and deal with the risks that come with it would have the option. the only people who would be against this are people who like to feel special with their premade groups and people who like to gatekeep the gamemode. if its entirely optional then theres no reason for it not to exist, outside of elitism

I’m ok with this for a base Mythic (aka Mythic 0) but not for a key.
Keys should always be a “form your own group” thing. The group finder we have now for that purpose is fine for keys.
Heroics at the start of BC were kind of tough. The ones you needed Honored rep to enter.
Of course, you couldn’t queue for those, since queueing for dungeons hadn’t been created yet.

Every online game has this problem. We shouldn’t stop ourselves from trying new things because of it.
