That’s a big ask for a ‘break emergency glass’ move from a company that is trying to pull as many rip chords as possible while still losing 50% of its population because their game kinda sux
I have read about this on reddit today. We’re actually in a sad state where hair colors, transmog options and Heritage weapons are gated behind high (edit) subscription numbers.
don’t forget player housing!
Hun, this is my thread. This is entirely my point here. I want to keep the Void elves, Void. I wanted to remind Blizzard (like they read this…) Void Elves DO have fans.
I have no problems with High Elves, but they should be their own.
High Elves wouldn’t have warlocks. They wouldn’t turn blue when they fight.
You behave like one.
Would’nt you rather not have to play a void elf to pretend to be a high elf?
Disliking them and calling them bland =/= anti.
I wish you your own allied race. So We can remain Void and you can be… well, whatever you are High about.
it’s funny because they’d fit in really well with the racial superiority clamoring blood elf RPers that are constantly outed as… national socialists
Don’t be sure of that we didn’t fight for high elf as a separate allied race. It wasn’t something that we had any choice to choose.
You would have assumed we didn’t want it since day 1 and before BFA. But we did. Ion Hazzikostas and the devs didn’t make that happen and their alternate solution was to make void elves with high elf options.
We didn’t want this to happen, and we just ended up using what they gave us with no choice.
And I really doubt they will add any more allied race with high elf for the alliance in it.
You truly had no choice but I’m glad this nightmare is finally over. Perhaps now we can concentrate on Worgen and Trolls options.
Or actual golden options for Goblins.
I still wish for my fellow Horde-players to get Gilgoblins as an AR so they finally know how it feels like to get an undesired race to play (Mechagnomes).
I think I might be on to something…
If you rearrange the letters of void around. You get ovid.
I suspect the leader of the void starts with the letter C.
Only if you gotta do a mythic dungeon to unlock it.
Oh, yes, I do remember something like this.
Although, the Alliance is in dire need for some upgrades. Worgen without tails is a no go, doesn’t feel anything like a wild or cursed beast form. The Draenei look too humanoid for me and are my most disliked playable race at the moment.
The dwarves are somewhat the only Alliance-race I think where they nailed the style perfectly.
Oh yeah, because wishing blood elves would retain a level of being unique and not liking seeing our customization options constnatly being lazily grandfathered into another race on the opposite faction makes people national socialists.
You are ridiculous for making such a comparison.
i take it you haven’t dealt with silvermoon blood elf noble house guilds on an rp server then
i wish they would have made high elves their own race
allied or no even core race i dunno whatever i guess they’d have to make a starting zone for them if they were a core race so i guess that’s not an option by the rules they have
I’m on WRA most mornings. I have never seen such behavior. Does that mean it doesn’t exist? No, of course not. It probably does. Does that mean people in these threads saying they wish their characters would retain a level of being unique are the same thing? No. It does not. You made a bad comparison.
That is exactly what it is. This is just a poor attempt to please some player and stop them to leave the game without thinking to consequences. There is a reason why some decision was never taking and it is because we didn’t knew the consequences of it. It seem that now blizzard is gonna do everything to keep player playing for the next month without thinking about how could this affect the game in the future.
Giving the alliance blood elf might make the game even more toxic than ever and make even more people leaving the game but i am not even sure that they took ten second to think about it.
Since WoW Alpha circa 2002-2003. High Elves playable on the Alliance was the highest requested race all the way back then. Before Blizzard decided to “subvert our expectations” with the TBC announcement, Blood Elves playable on Alliance was also right up there. In fact, almost no one was asking for Blood Elves on the Horde.
