So how people should discuss the matter when the Megathread is locked?

Making the exact same thread while the other is locked would be spam because the locked one will be unlocked someday and we would end up with two threads, a.k.a Spam

If the megathread is locked, making a second thread is not spam. Having 3+ active high elf threads is.

I suggested the thread use a title to show it was the continuation of the megathread. People might not be aware the megathread is shut down and this one’s title is a bit click baity. Which irritates people just a little bit more, like comic sans.

While we have many threads talking about High Elves right now they’re from different players and each one are talking about one different aspect of it.

This one, for instance, is talking more about Blood Elves than High Elves tbh.

But that has nothing to do with the conversation.

The Light is not good. So therefor its opposite…the Void…can not be evil.

The Light and Void are opposites. If the Void is evil, then the Light must be good. But there are people that have a connection to the light, and use it for evil means.

Definitely. They each have a different goal. And they are opposite of each other. But one is not inherently evil, and the other is not inherently good.

They just “are”.

You said per DnD Void Elves are evil.
But WoW is now suddenly the opposite of DnD.
So the opposite of evil is good?
So Void Elves are good?

Right. The Light is just as fanatical as the Void, and allows just as much barbaric, brutal, and downright “evil” activities as long as it pushes the Light’s goal. See…I dunno. Yrel and/or the Scarlet Crusade.

I think there is good and evil, but it’s not apparent. It’s not the obvious things, like light and void. In some cases evil characters might be redeemed, even if only temporarily or in the face of a greater evil. Sometimes good characters make evil decisions or are forced to pick the lesser of two evils. It would get awefuly boring if the story was just about good guys and easy choices for 15 years.

I think it would be really fun to have a fanatical light type expansion once. Where the Light is trying to more aggressively take control. And races/classes with a strong tie to the Light have to do some serious soul searching.
