Water Strider

Luckily for you, you don’t have to play much to be on equal footing.

System would have been great had two things happened:

1-Left the water strider untouched, but exempt it from equipment like the sky golem.

2-Make equipment per-mount so everyone can customize their favorite mounts for whatever activity they do.

But apparently Blizz doesn’t like players having actual choices anymore.

I should not have to play at all to be on equal footing, I just should be able to buy it from a vendor for gold, It’s only fair after all.

It will eventually come to that point, don’t let your little heart worry.

Needs to be there with the rest of the stuff they are giving to every one else tomorrow. It’s only fair right? Can’t have anyone work for any thing and be rewarded for teh time. It’s only fair I should have it handed to me too, it’s only fair to put me on equal level.

Yeah, I agree. What’s fair is fair.

nuff said.

Now you are going massively overboard with exaggeration…

Having a new system being introduced that overlaps with something you already had and makes it obsolete by providing a better version of it, in fact might diminish or make your older perk “less special” but it’s not that big of a deal.

Nor is equivalent to players being able to get current content rewards for free (well they sort of can due to a terrible gearing system but that’s a different subject).

If that were only so, I could buy your argument.

Wait until this change goes live, and you’ll see why it’s not “a better version of it.”

I did not say for free, have to pay gold for it. If we can do it with one mount we can do it with all mounts. So every raid mount, dungeon mount and rare drop need to be put on a vendor so people can get them for gold. Can’t let one person work for something and not let everyone else get on equal footing with just some gold. It’s only fair that everyone be equal.

They should make all raid, meta, & achievement mount models available for purchase, but in limited colors. Gold for expensive, tarnished silver for moderate, partly oxidized (semi greenish) copper for cheap. Make the copper and silver versions like rentals that expire after a month (copper) or year (silver).

That way it’s clear how folks earned it obtained the mount.

Both of these, absolutely.

But no one from Blizzard has responded to any of our requests. Not once – no comments, clarifications, concerns – nothing.

Unbelievable.

You know after this I agree.I don’t want any rep.mount.Let me buy it.

Why does it need to be clear, If someone has the water shoes on how can you tell if they paid gold or got the rep to get them, Come on now everyone need to be equal, Would not be fair if you singled out some players.

Yeah, sure adding a new system to the game that gives players easier access to one specific perk is the exact same as all that you describe, how could I have been so blind…

I do acknowledge there’s something being taken away from those who got the strider, but the massive over exaggeration and drama over something so small it’s what’s bothering me now, it’s not that big of a deal.

Your car analogy is flawed. 20% more speed is functionally useless when all my cars can already go faster than the speed limit already, but don’t because that’s illegal.

Unless you mean I get a special sticker/permit that entitled me to drive 20% faster than the posted limit… In which case, screw 4 wheel drive, I’m taking the speed. And giving up going offroading once in a while I guess… I’ll miss it.

I acknowledged there’s indeed a loss for those who had the water strider, but you are just going overboard with exaggeration is not that big of a deal.

Again it’s just something that overlaps with a new system being introduced, it sucks you are less special now, it’s not like it’s invalidating all the progression or all the rewards of the game like the examples you make.

Lol ok, I didn’t think I needed to go that deep in detail when making an hypothetical example… sure, let’s say your allowed speed limit is raised by 20% too.

Why is it fair to some one tht does not have the Time-lost Proto Drake when I have it. It’s need to be put on a vendor so everyone has a chance to get it. It’s only fair, everyone has to be equal. It’s still farmable if you don’t want to pay all that gold for it,. But it need be avaliable for everyone to get with no effort. I should be able to buy all the pvp mounts for gold, it’s only fair since I don’t have the time to farm the honor.

How bored you must be if telling others how they should feel about something is entertaining enough to bother with.
