yeah, you can deflect and ignore the theft all you want, but it doesnt alter the FACT that I worked for the strider TWICE and now I have to BUY WWing on 90% of my characters again who DIDNT have to buy it prior to the theft.

Absurd. There is likely FEW or NO areas where WWing is REQUIRED. Same with FLIGHT
Stop deflecting.
The strider makes travel FASTER when I can bee line to my destination rather than going AROUND that lake.
Try harder please.

no…whats embarassing is seeing players condoning what would amount to felony theft IF it were to happen exactly the same in the real world.
Indecency is indecency even if its allowed by the fine print in the ToS.

Like the portals debacle, it shaves a few seconds at most. That is what you’re going to learn to live without, until you pass around WW boots to your alts, anyways.

WWing over swimming is a HUGE speed difference and you know it.
Thinking you just like to argue to hear your own voice at this point.
There is TONS of water all over this game.
I know…I actually play in classic thru MOP every day.

After I pay for it on 50+ characters who are UNDER level 100 when I did the grind TWICE for the strider AS ADVERTISED at the time.

Like someone else said, I shouldnt have just NOT done the grind twice and wait to get my entitlement WWing for free.

my only fear about mount equipment is that Blizzard will take the mobs stunning us up a few notches to get us to NOT choose water walking because they hate water walking. You know? That would be super controlling and manipulative in the exact sneaky way I hate most about this dev team.

It’s my understanding this has already happened. Also I think they are adding mobs in the air that will stun you also.

Bottom line
Dont do the grind.
Because they can alter or remove anything you did the work for at any second on a whim…and thats confirmed even by players in this thread.

Dont waste investing your time in something blizzard will likely just take or screw over at some point anyway…meaning you wasted your time getting it.

I never got the water strider because it seemed like a lot of work. Now I get water walking mounts for no effort. This is BfA.

TBH though I’ve seen this in so many areas. I grinded WSG rep and then they made that brawl where you capture tons of flags every game. Completely invalidated the hard work I put in. Same thing with people getting Glad in BfA compared to how hard it used to be. Lots of areas in the game have been impacted like this.

…on PTR I got a copy of the mount shoes for each character I copied over.

Hopefully that will carry over to live for our alts.
