Mount Equipment Gone

So I logged back in after playing for awhile this afternoon and I noticed my Water Walking mount equipment was no longer equipped? The slot is just empty? This isn’t intended right? Edit: It looks like I still have the effect, it just shows I have nothing equipped

The give and take away mindset has finally broken me. The bug I worked for worked when I first logged on. As soon as I opened my mail and accepted the ridiculous explanation of my strider “losing” his ability to walk on water, that’s exactly what happened. He sank like a rock, and I was so angry, I could have spit razor blades. You couldn’t have seen your way to listen to 90+% of your player base.

I had the exact same experience. And it is not fun. I was really excited about 8.2 for it should advance the story line. However, after 2 days, I am time gated and stuck doing very annoying quests on my broken strider.

What is worse is after 2 days all my friends have disappeared. They say they can’t get into this grind at all. I hope something exciting happens when the raid is released as wasting time running round looking for random things that disappear when you reach them is not a way to relax and have fun.

I did the grind for both mounts. Mount equipment is no substitute for the mounts losing their unique ability. We’re all equal here, in that we’re all losers.

I dont understand the joke logic anyway.
They remove my portals because ‘too much magic’, I guess.
THEN they turn around and let ALL of my mounts walk on water because ‘its a magical world’.

Likewise, they argued that Mages had a unique mode of transport, and then LITERALLY removed a unique mode of transport.
